What Item creation feats do you think is best for the party

Advice

Scarab Sages

I am a God Wizard,
And for me personal I see wondrous items being most useful for me.
The + intelgence Headband,
+ dex belt,
Pearls of power,
Bags of holding, (also good for party, Party items.)
Skill Increase items, (good for my self, (spellcraft to help make all those magic items, and for the party, (+5 to skills can be vary nice for the party.)

VS
Wands:
Only first and second level are really wroth it, and they are cheep compared to otheres, and only the casters can use them

Vs
Brew Potion:
Scorls are cheeper.

Vs
Arms and armour
I am the only one in the party that dosnt use any of that...
So
In your guys O,
What would be the best for the party for my 5th level bonus feat?

Craft Wondrous Item for sure, many many MANY uses for every class.

+1. I have CWI, CAAA and SS. CWI is definitely the best. Make sure your DM knows what you are doing and you are creating stuff the way he tells you to. Speaking from experience...penalties for not knowing how your DM interprets the item creation rules SUUUUCK.

If you are only ever going to get one, then Craft Wondrous Items is by far the best for a group. I would say Scribe Scroll is VERY helpful just for yourself as a caster.

All other feats have their uses, but are really only for the dedicated wizard that does not like to take metamagic feats.

As a wizard, he gets scribe scroll for free already, which is why he most likely didn't list it.

Agreed. It was more of an overall comment directed at the subject line of the post... and mostly aimed at others reading this thread that are playing something other then a wizard.

Haversacks, Quivers, Boots of Striding, Pearls of Power, Stat belts and headbands, Resistance cloaks, Fireball Necklaces, Silversheen, etc etc etc.

Cloak of Resistance, Eyes of the Eagle, headbands and belts, Elemental Gems, Hat of Disguise.

candles of invocation (also useful for showing the price of a one time use wish item), boots of speed, dust of appearance, various feather tokens (especially tree).

the cheap ioun stones are great with the wayfinder alternate rules.

if you have any druids or clerics in your party- incense of meditation.

it is a bit on the pricey side, but a lyre of building can be a campaign changer in the right hands.

Many things are class dependent. Druid vestments, monk robe, amulet of mighty fists, bracers of armor, prayer beads, and banners are all of use for some classes.

Bags of holding, quivers, stat booster (tomes, belts, headbands), cloak of resistance and amulet of natural armor are great for everybody.

Then there the fun stuff that is left to player preference such as boots of teleportation, figurines of wonderous power, instant fortress, flying carpets, cowardly crouching cloak, marvelous pigments, mask of the skull, etc.

Craft Wonderous Item is just too good for words. If you craft, get it.
Arms and Armour is second best for everybody but you.
Wands are like a bulk rate discount for scrolls. 40% off is nothing to scoff at, but you buy 50 at a time. Good if you use them a lot. Otherwise, buy the few you need and stick to scrolls for back-up utility.
Rods and Staves can both get VERY expensive and are good picks for a high level Wizard who plans on using them.

If you charge your allies a fraction of the money saved, arms and armor can be good - they save money, you earn money, and now your friends make better meat shields/monster pokers. Some players may not appreciate this, but I for one think it's fair, since it's YOUR feat investment, and they're still coming out ahead.

Wondrous is still better overall, I think. It's just far and away the most broadly applicable.

Rings get an honorable mention for me simply because of rings of protection. Deflection is such a delicious bonus.

to me the ring is not wroth a feat, since you only have two ring slots.

Which for me well be the one that gives u two hours sleep, and
The deflection one.

Also I plan on charging a little bit...
For a 'scroll' cost :P
