Plenty of people have already answered that question in the Bestiary 3 Wish List thread.

I also want some new playable races, this is my number one desire for the B3.
I think the races of pathfinder suffer from two problems. First off, Pathfinder is in a lot of ways a copy of 3.5 mechanically which is awesome, but as a newer game I was disappointed when it was launched with the same 7 core races and nothing added. The bestiary brought back one of my favorite races, the tiefling, but overall there was very little by way of new races. So basically, the attempt to recreate 3.5 brought in no new playable races in the core book and very few in the bestiary.
Secondly the editions that did seem new just looked lackluster. I hate to sound mean because game developers frequent these boards but some of the new (unless they were D&D reprints) monster races looked totally bland. Frog people and crow people do not strike my fancy as something fun or interesting.
The fantasy genera sees a lot of anthropomorphic animals and a lot of the same old stuff over and over. Don't get me wrong, dwarves and elves and half orcs are amazing creatures, but it's about time we see a unique, legitimate race that can stand beside them. Something likable enough to make a realistic adventurer but exotic enough to breathe more life into the old tropes of fantasy. I think if anyone can give us this it's the folks at piazo and if any book can bring it to life it would be the bestiary 3.
Anyone second this notion?
