I'm making a Cleric with the mentioned subdomains, figuring the combat maneuvers would make for a fun, fairly useful character, but I am stuck for what Race to go with, and undecided on other concepts to flesh out the character/long term goals...
I don't want to multiclass, and I don't want a gnome, halfling, elf, or aasimar. Probably not a Dwarf either.
Any suggestions/ideas/thoughts?

Well, if you don't mind flopping around by 5 feet a round, a Merfolk fits the bill perfectly. The three straight ability buffs would certainly be useful.
In all seriousness, Human may benefit you the most, given the +2 to any ability score and the extra feat at 1st level. The extra +1 to any skill doesn't hurt either.
Perhaps your character could be the cleric of a seaside town, where he was born and raised. If you want to apply the stereotypical surfer template that ,, mentioned, your cleric could be a little more carefree than most, and really friendly, which would make sense, considering his likely high Charisma score.

Play a Dwarf! Grown up on the beach because his family is in exile, and the beach is probably one of the two worst locations for a dwarf to live. Having grown up in very different circumstances to your usual dwarf he could be quite an interesting and unique character to play. Plus the idea of a squat dwarf with a big blonde beard and hair surfing in hawaiian board shorts amuses me no end.

LOL... wow, he is so definitely going to have to be a Tengu now...ALBATROSS!!!
So I'm thinking for stats (25pt buy)
Str 9 (and a MW backpack)
Dex 14+2
Con 12-2
Int 10
Wis 18+2
Cha 12
And give him a crossbow, Favored class +HP, Skills: Stealth and Perception
Traits: Armor Expert, Highlander. Feat: Selective Channeling.
The community he is from will be a seaside cliff type area, where he is used to defending ...by bull rushing attackers off of cliffs >D
Any other thoughts?

"Mine?"
Sorry, couldn't resist....=0)
The thing I find interesting is the Tengu's "Use ANY sword without penalty" racial trait. The thing is you could choose a 'style' of sword fighting and then simply just keep swapping the same 'styles'/'types' of swords around/out until you find that one type you like, all with out penalties.
Heh, or eventually get a bag of holding and go the whole "Golf set" type image.
"Hmmm...I think the number four iron for this foe..." *Reaches over back and draws out some weird, exotic scimitar*
Also, I know a fellow who took two weapon fighting and the new 'falcata'. A very nasty combination with the Tengu. Effectively, as a full round action, the character becomes a one creature 'blade barrier'. *bows*
Hope your creation gives you much fun. =)

Well...no, because there are a lot of 'exotic' types of swords. B@stard Sword, Falcata....
Being able to swap out swords to suit the current purpose?
"We're going into a narrow dungeon..the number three rapier."
"Oh, massed combat on the open fields, plains? The number seven b@astard sword for this lot."
