Online Gming of PFS Modules

So I have a question about the Playing of Pathfinder Society charcters online, If your character is involved in an online campaign. Online mods go on for a long time while your character is involved may you apply some experience for game mastering to it, and also I would assume that you cannot play the character until the online module is complete. Am I correct?

Not offical, just my opinion.

If you were playing a character you definitely couldn't use it elsewhere.

However while GMing I don't think you need to pick a character until the end so there's nothing stopping you from playing the character that you'd like to give the rewards to somewhere else. Just make sure you don't get the character stuck in the middle of something else when the one you are running ends and remember that the character you want the credit on will still have to be legal.

1 sentence summary: Choose a character to receive credit for an adventure when you have completed running it.

Assuming by online gaming you mean play-by-post and such, correct. While your character is playing a game via play-by-post that character is not eligible to be used in another adventure. So if the play-by-post lasts for three months, then that character is committed to that adventure for three months.

Both answers are correct.

The above answers were made with the assumption that you are referring to playing Pathfinder Society modules online, and not just non-Society Paizo modules.

To remain a Pathfinder Society character, a PFSOP character can only be played in Pathfinder Society modules, not including retired modules after the retirement date.

Sorry for ressurecting such an old thread, but is this still the case? I had thought it had changed, but cant find it anywhere.
