Would a witch's hexes, specifically Evil Eye and Misfortune, drop an Invisibility spell that was cast on her? Though her target has to make a save, I don't see it as an attack, but I don't see anything in the books to help clarify, at least not the way I read the rules. Is there a general consensus on this?

Well, Invisibility says
For purposes of this spell, an attack includes any spell targeting a foe or whose area or effect includes a foe.
I don't see why a supernatural ability would be handled any different than a spell in this regard. Going by RAW, you couldn't even heal an enemy and remain invisible.
I'd just say: If you target a foe with ANYTHING, the spell drops.

I don't think you could effectively use cackle while invisible?
Using any hex on a foe is going to drop your invisibility, that's your standard action gone.
Then you have to cackle as your move action.
Is there a way to use a swift action to become invisible as well? You can't cackle in the following round, because your initial hex is over at the beginning of your next turn.

But like Diego said... it doesn't actually target anything. And while yes, you'd know SOMEONE was near, but you still wouldn't be able to see them. I like the flavor of fighting a group of opponnents, suddenly feeling weaker as if glowing eyes stared into your soul... and then she vanishes and useen maniacal laughter sounds out as she runs around the fight, just out of reach.

Cackling while invisible seems legit. All in all it is pretty similar to summoning whilst invisible, if you think about it.
Avatar: the easiest way would be a rod or feat of metamagic : quicken.
Remember you're getting a -20 to pinpoint your location due to the sound you are making, and you can't use stealth... so it shouldn't be too difficult for an opponent to pinpoint you (DC 20 if you move even 5ft)
