An 8 Int is a bit slow. An 8 Wis is a bit absentminded or preoccupied. By your argument my Paladin, who started with 8 DEX, would have been unable to walk around.

Heck, these aren't even 7... or 5, and I've seen dwarves with 5 CHA.

You've never been at the table with the OP. You do not know whether or not he plays his scores. Do not call someone a bad roleplayer if you've not seen them play.

Yes, an 8 Int is slow, which is exactly what I said. I never said anything about being a vegetable. Just like an 8 Dex would make absolutely make you clumsy, not a complete cripple. Use some logic here.

A 5 Cha is a different story altogether; that just means you're ugly and/or unpleasant to be around.

Lastly, I didn't call anyone a bad roleplayer. For all I know, he may roleplay the hell out of that 8 Int. I just doubt it.

Don't attribute things to me that I didn't say.

Wow, and 8 on both Int and Cha? Why does everyone on this site build characters like this? With those scores, your Paladin is mildly retarded, and barely has the willpower to get out of bed every morning. How about you rework your stats as well, and maybe have the intelligence and awareness of a normal, functioning human.
Unhelpful troll is unhelpful.

I'm not trolling, I really want to know why people do that. You must do no amount of role-playing whatsoever, and just show up to roll dice in combat. Your GM should make you play out your Int and Wis accordingly. Your character would not be able to deal with new situations as they arose, he would stand around and wait until someone told him what to do.

Well I picked up the word took from the Guy that got me into it. He's and oldschool player who I guess picked up some new school slang.

As far as the word 'build' what is the preferred vernacular? I view character as skills, role playing, the overall package, whereas build is pure statistical efficiency, Ala stats, items, feats etc.

And as far as the preference of rapier/dagger as opposed to two rapiers, I guess its the last vestiges of realism in my imagination. True dual wielding twin rapiers is nearly unheard of beyond d the realm of fantasy.

Hey! Thanks for the welcome!

You guys are making a big deal about him calling his character a toon? Really? Lighten the hell up. I've been gaming for 25 years, have done very little MMOing, and I call my characters toons, PCs, guys, whatever. Everyone knows what he's talking about. He's just sharing his opinions and absorbing feedback, not looking to be scolded for his wording, or mocked for said opinions.

For the greatsword one I would suggest putting the +2 racial to Strength for 17.

For the twin, go with a 15 char and +2 racial for 17.

Again the Half Elf, Half Orc would be an interesting match.

I once ran an epic game where two of the players were sisters... Half elf Terri and Half Orc Perri. During the course of the game then found a Half Red Dragon, Half Drow and Half Ilithid.... All female Sherri Marri and Scarri.

I'm the one who'd be playing the other twin. While we may explore the possibility of having a Half-Elf, Half-Orc twin pairing, we won't be applying racial bonuses to get any stat up to a 17. We just got out of a campaign where all the other players were min/maxed, and we're trying to be more character focused in this one.

Why is a falchion listed as a two-handed weapon? Throughout history, it's been a one-handed sword, basically a machete with a crossguard. At best, it's a hand-and-a-half sword, I'd just like to know why it's classified where it is, especially since a bastard sword is now a one-handed weapon.

Would a witch's hexes, specifically Evil Eye and Misfortune, drop an Invisibility spell that was cast on her? Though her target has to make a save, I don't see it as an attack, but I don't see anything in the books to help clarify, at least not the way I read the rules. Is there a general consensus on this?
