If my barbarian has a +1 X-bane furious greataxe, is it considered a +5 weapon when killing X's while raging?
What if it were also an allying weapon? Could my barbarian then transfer the entire +5 bonus to an ally (even if said ally is killing Y's rather than X's)?
I've also noticed that, according to the wording of the menacing weapon property, it doesn't seem to do ANYTHING for the wielder. It increases the flanking bonuses on attack rolls for all flanking allies. Isn't the wielder supposed to get the bonus as well, provided he is flanking?

Wouldn't "all flanking allies" include the wielder? Im thinking along the way allies is used when describing the combatants in WW II here: the US, France, and England (and others) are allies. If it said "the wielders allies recieve X" then you might have a valid argument.

For your second question, In the APG faq it is pointed out that you are considered an ally to yourself.
That's really good to know, but still, I'm sure I heard or read a direct contradiction to that somewhere.

Unless that statement was in the FAQ for the APG it was likely an opinion/ interpretation.

Here's the awesome part, instead of checking th FAQ to see if im right, which i am, you just tell me im wrong...
For the "nimbus of light" ability of the Warrior of the Holy Light paladin archetype (page 118), what kind of light does it count as for the purpose of overcoming darkness effects? Is there a limit to how often a paladin can activate this ability? Does the 12th-level ability affect the paladin, or just her allies?
The ability counts as light up until 8th-level, at which point it counts as daylight. Activating the "nimbus of light" expends one use of her lay on hands ability. All effects of the nimbus affect the paladin as well as her allies (the game considers you an ally of yourself).
The APG update will include these clarifications. (SKR 10/20/10)–Sean K Reynolds (10/20/10)
I bolded the part that is pertinent and the context it was used in is also there... and just so you dont think i made this up... LINK
Now since YOU didnt come up with it or find it, im more than half expecting you to say its a condition under which it doesnt work, even though the wording is the same, but i have said my piece.

Huh? I did look it up for myself--and I never said anywhere that I thought you were wrong. You really shouldn't infer so much off of so little. It only makes you look put on edge.
