Homebrew and House Rules

I've brewed races, classes, itmes out the wazoo, and a few monsters. I even have an entire campaign setting and adventure path. I've dipped my fingers into spells, but their really not my cup of tea. So what is next? I love to home-brew, but I'm not feeling particularly inspired for anything right now and just don't know where to turn to, so I turn to the boards.

Rules for intrigue. Rules for creating maintaining and using contacts, gaining influence at court, swaying the masses/mobs.

Rules for reputation with groups. Example being raiding the tomb of a beloved city founder might get you a bad rep with that city but gain you good rep with it rival city.

You could turn your creative juices to:

  • the possibilities of a barter system where precious metals and gems don't exist
  • star charts and the exact celestial movements of the planetary bodies
  • entire roadmaps of labyrinthian underground cities
  • whole interdependent ecologies of creatures, from mirobial one-celled organisms to the Tarrasque
  • the anatomical structure of gelatinous cubes and other jellies

...and many other things.

I am already a big advicate of the Cleaves. Sadly, however, I ran out of decent things to put in their not long before you started posting in them. And I don't want to fill it with just anything, only my best stuff.

But a friend reminded me of the new ideas for core classes thread that was on here awhile back. So now I have some new ideas for classes to homebrew.
