I still think it would be neat if a ninja was a class that used magic to accomplish what the rogue does with skills and talent.

Magic can be ki powers, spells, spell-like abilities like a warlock's invocations, or supernatural abilities like a binder's vestiges (maybe using different clans for different magical traditions).
