He nods. He knew he forgot about it, and was trying to move on. It did show he was slightly ignorant now that he forgot it and tried to move on.
"The murder of one of our own was caused by a source only Avion could have deciphered, and thus it remains unknown. If this matter continues to trouble you, I will personally inspect every room of this ship, and scour it, while you all remain onboard up on the main deck.
"In fact, let's do that now. Kai! With me! All passengers of this ship are to remain on deck until the search is done. If we find nothing, then there is no need to fear!"
And with that, blade still drawn, the Captain moved with some distaste in his mouth, towards the hold.
Try to lift spirits, and all they can do is think negatively. I understand, but... must you ruin the faith of the whole ship?
"Quartermaster" Kai'itza
A few cheers raise out, but it's cut short by a multitude of questions raised that ring out about them.
There is a rumbling about safety, and giant creatures, and a death.
Grunge: "What about the recent murder on board, are we going to ignore this? I was told there were more important matters! What's more important than a threat to my life? Some current? No way!"
The Gnoll looks around cautiously.
Raising a fist into the air he joins in the chorus with Nerine and Suny, "Ekess wer papref, ekess hesi new okarthel!
To the future, to our new home!
As the cheers died and the words of angst came forth Kai'itza became very focused, because fear could lead to loss of logic and correct thought. When grunge came forth and spoke, Kai stood in shock because he would have never believed a gnoll warrior would ever admit fear. Before so many no less!
The shock passed with a painful shake of his head as he stepped forward to address this personally. "Friend Grunge, it took more bravery then many before uss hass to admit what you have before sso many. Now let me put thiss to resst, with a vow. I will perssonally ssearch thiss sship with whoever wisshess to assisst me! Let it be known that the protection of everyone on board hass been our greatesst concern, so casst asside your doubtss and focuss on the furture, while I ssearch for what may lurk unsseen."
Diplomacy 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
He flexes his hands and stretches his neck while rolling his shoulders, even though the tension on his muscles was causing his head to ache. He had to be prepared for a fight, but Kripya's room was not to be searched except by him alone. She had suffered enough already, and to have her den invaded again within so short of a time would cause dishonor. Today he would be the one to have his eyes lowered for causing her grief again.
"Thiss ssearch meanss that everyone'ss roomss will be looked through sso do not be offend"
Edit: just saw the Captains post~ Ooopsie lol
Kai nods in agreement to the Captains words, and follows him with the look of a poised fighter. "Lead and I sshall follow" With a warriors determination they search the ship starting in the hold, once there he will knock on Kripya's door and await her response.
Kyre Sannah
Kyre made her way to the main deck just in time to hear the captain's salutation. Her own reply to his oratory was a wordless cry like ecstatic birdsong, but she never once lost sight of anyone on deck, and contrived to be close to where the captain and first mate were making their way to depart.
Since the tongue of dragons seemed to be the 'intel' language on the ship, it was in that language that Kyre quietly addressed them: Nishka si demak wux usv zexenuma tenpiswo mrith wer ssifisv?

The surprise's do not cease! How do so many speak the tongue of the ancients! I have brought shame to myself by how much I have doubted these unscaled. He smiles a toothy grin, which looks more like a predators smile because of his current stance. "Di ekmiv wux shilta, nomeno ui vi kear di tonoparir vur charis!" "Of course you can, this is a day of bonding and hope!"

Raz thinks and quickly Something is wrong but what? Why won´t tell us or even ask us to help? Why are they determining who can search or no?
Stepping forward Raz raises his voice May I interrupt... but can I ask, what is this creature you speak about? How did this one die? I understand the logic at searching people rooms and all the places occupied... but isn´t it too much? We all are here and for sure we would like to help! We are all gathered here to listen and then you decided for us, what we should do. I admit that it is for best to all of us, but shouldn´t at least one of us come with you, as a neutral member? So far I have seen it is mostly decided by the crew members. Again I admit, that we aren´t crew members and we don´t know so much about handling ship, but at least I hope and maybe it is same for others, how this is affecting people. We all have our private things, which we don´t want to be seen... so I see it just fair and being honesty, that one or two of us can also see. This way we, passengers, are not left behind.
Little bit twitching and unsure how to continue, Raz continues Honestly... I have been here also for long time, but never took action. With a hiding of distaste in his face, he moves forward, letting those who volunteered themselves move on.
Kai, you overstepped my authority. Let's hope this isn't a trend.
"Onward, then."
He moves swiftly over near where his quarters are, through the crowd first, of course, and starts at his own room first, or at least, somewhat.
"Search my room, high and low. I'll start over here - none of us are exempt from this search, not even I."
He, however, moves to the room next door, where many passengers currently sleep at night. He begins to conduct his search.

"Quartermaster" Kai'itza
It took several moments for Kai to realize the weight of his words, and then the realization struck like a falling tree. If others weren't around he would bow his head in shame, he had most definitely said words that only the Captain should have said. Sometimes my age becomes more apparent when I lose hold of myself in being honorable and just... I act more like a Shaman then a 'Quartermaster' and now I've said something that was supposed to be the Captains words. He sighed as they continued their search, he only spoke when someone overstepped themselves and tried to look at someone's personal items.

'Once said they cannot be unsaid.' This saying came from the Chieftain when the Shaman had called him a fool in front of the tribe when he refused to destroy a blighted darkwood tree, even though it was sacred its death would destroy everything around it.[/ooc] Kai squared his shoulders for the task ahead and watched for any sneak-thieves among the searchers while they continued the search for their unknown assailant.

Mini Event: The Search
I'm assuming all areas of the ship will be checked, including Kripya, and unless you want to talk to her again I'll glaze over that with DM flavor text (Kai said he would so I will assume that is still true.)
A few members of the crew offer to help look, it's quickly decided however that to keep it fair only a few should be searching. (i.e. the PCs) Everyone else agrees to stay above deck while the search commences.
Everyone but Garth, and Kripya are gathered in area 5, and mill about in areas 1, 2, and 5 once the searching starts. These areas are all above deck.
Located directly across from the captain's quarters is this room, it's rather small for it's occupants, and not very suitable to the amount of people sleeping here, but that makes it easy to search.
You find nothing of note here.
Located on the north side of the ship, there is a tad bit more space, and a decent amount of beds.
You find nothing of note here.
A detailed search reveals nothing of note in regards to creatures, or dangers. The crew does seem to peek inside while this room is search as it is on deck, and notes nothing of any significance lies within.
One of the larger areas on this ship, but not many places a creature could hide. Looking over the kitchen provides no clues.
Fast forwarding you find no real clues at all. No creatures hiding anywhere on board, with the exceptions of the animals you brought with you. They seem properly contained and going about their business as normal. (eventually I'll get a real list of creatures on board, those spiders will be added etc, but for now they all check out.)
Your search returns nothing in terms of creatures or hiding places.
For Kai'itza:
Kripya has nothing much in her room, a bed, a makeshift table with a few personal items, and a chair. There isn't much else to it. She makes sure to cover before you come inside, but as no problems with the search being conducted, and will willingly leave the room while you do it, if required.
Kripya: "I couldn't hear what transpired above, if it isn't a distraction please fill me in on what was said."
"Captain" Devannis Pantera
As the captain resurfaces from the entire ship search, he retakes his position at the helm, and sheathes his blade. He clears his throat again, and claps his hands once.
"After a thorough search throughout the day, we have found nothing of ill intent aboard this boat - you are all safe for the time being, 'lest something foreign joins us today!
Even as we speak, I can barely make out the shape of our ally, Garth. Maybe he will also have joyous news for us - so for those who worry about their well-being, worry not! You are all safe in our hands. For those who need medical attention, feel free to guide yourself towards Nerine - she did offer her services unto us when Avion left our service."
Here he sighed, and leaned back on the railing. He watched his boat full of passengers, having known their worries at one time. They really do need hope, and just offering alcohol does not give the real thing. Why, oh why, did I forget about that?
He nods to the temporary helmsman, and takes back his place at the wheel, clasping it with a heavy sigh once again.
"Quartermaster" Kai'itza
Kripya: "I couldn't hear what transpired above, if it isn't a distraction please fill me in on what was said."
He smiles his friendly toothy grin, and nods towards her as he sits on his haunches for a moment. The room was small and homely to him, with a pleasant smell that reminded him of the huts in his village. "Never a distraction friend Kripya, you need to know what iss happening sso you can have a voice ass well"
He explains what the Captain has said about the current as best he can and talks about the fear displayed by those on-board about what happened to Finn. "That wass the purposse of our ssearch now, to lesssen everyoness fearss and to find what caussed Finn'ss fall. But we have found nothing and perhapss what we ssearch for wass another of this worldss sstrangnesss ssomething that iss but issn't." He pauses considering the strangeness of his own words and how they don't make any sense. He sighs feeling the weariness of the day weighing more and more on him as the day goes on.
"Forgive me, friend Kripya, i've invaded you den for long enough and musst continue my dutiess. I will sstop by again if you wissh to sspeak but for now I will leave you to your privacy." He waits to listen to any response she may have, not wanting to be rude.
Once it seems shes satisfied he will go back on deck and look to the horizon along with everyone else. He squints trying to see what is approaching more clearly, it must be Garth but...

DM: (For Raz)
You hear a click, and the orb sticks to your fingers, there is a slight pinching as you feel it drive small needle thin shards of metal into your hand. The device begins to unfold, revealing metal segments, overlapping plates, and spinning gizmos that move of their own accord. It mechanically unfolds over your hand and forearm until it becomes a gauntlet that locks into place.
The gauntlet has a large Sapphire gem fitted to the back of the hand, that seems to radiate a dim light, it shifts colors slightly and settles on an dull blue glow once the bonding process finishes.
You feel tingles, and throbs as you get accustomed to the slightly uncomfortableness of the slivers of metal poking you from the inside. It's not painful, but you feel them whenever you flex your hand.
All/Any attempts to remove the gauntlet fail.
You feel slightly lightheaded a short time afterwords, drained of energy, but it fades in time.
You are left with a fuzzy feeling, and know innately a few things you can do while wearing this item now.
A character of 6th level or lower may invest a portion of his life force into his item familiar, receiving bonus XP in return. These XP are actually part of the item, however, so if the item is lost or destroyed, the character loses not only the bonus but a quantity of his existing XP as well.
When a character chooses to invest his life energy into his item familiar, his current XP total and all future XP awards increase by 10%. However, if the character loses the item, he loses all bonus XP gained, plus an additional 200 XP per character level.
For example, Boredflak, a 6th-level character with 19,000 XP, chooses to invest his item familiar, a ring, with some of his life energy. He adds 1,900 XP (10% of 19,000) to his XP total, so he now has 20,900 XP. If he goes on an adventure and earns another 1,000 XP, he actually gains 1,100 XP (1,000 + 10% of 1,000), increasing his total to 22,000 XP, which makes him a 7th-level character.
If he then loses the ring, he would lose the 2,000 XP gained from the investiture (the 1,900 XP he received originally plus the bonus 100 XP he earned later), plus an additional 1,400 XP (200 XP per level), for a total loss of 3,400 XP. This loss would reduce his XP total to 18,600 and his character level to 6th.
Whenever a character with an item familiar gains skill points, he may choose to put some or all of those skill points into his item familiar. He assigns the skill points normally, but notes that they now reside in the item familiar. For every 3 ranks he assigns to the item familiar, he gains a +1 bonus that he can apply to any single skill. This bonus can be applied to a skill in which he already has maximum ranks. He can apply multiple bonuses to the same skill, but he may not have more points of bonus in a skill than he has ranks.
If the character loses the item familiar, is separated from it for one day per level (see the Item Familiar feat description), or if the item familiar is destroyed, these skill points and the bonuses related to them are lost.
For example, Boredflak has just achieved 7th character level, and he takes a level of wizard. Because of his high Intelligence score, he gains 7 skill points. He assigns 1 skill point to each of the following skills:
* Concentration
* Decipher Script*
* Knowledge (arcana)*
* Knowledge (dungeoneering)*
* Knowledge (nobility and royalty)*
* Knowledge (the planes)*
* Spellcraft*
He uses an asterisk to note that 1 rank for each of six skills resides in his ring. Since that adds up to a total of 6 skill ranks in the ring, he gains two +1 bonuses he can apply to any skill. He decides to assign both bonuses (a total of +2) to his Concentration skill. Boredflak only has 1 rank in the cross-class skill Spot. If he had desired, he could have applied a single +1 bonus to that skill, but not both.
Only spellcasters may choose to use this option. A character with an item familiar may choose to invest a single spell slot in his familiar and gain a bonus spell slot in return. The single spell slot must be of the highest spell level he can cast, and the bonus spell slot is always two levels lower than the slot invested in the item. As the caster gains (or loses) levels, the spell slot invested in the item changes so that it is always of the highest spell level he can cast, and the bonus spell slot also changes accordingly, remaining two levels lower than that.
If a spellcaster does not have a spell slot two levels lower than the highest spell level he can cast (if he can cast only 0- and 1st-level spells), he cannot use this option.
As with all other investiture options, if the item familiar is lost or destroyed, so are both spell slots.
For example, as a 7th-level wizard, Boredflak can cast 4th-level spells. He chooses to invest one 4th-level spell slot in his ring. The ring gains an additional 2nd-level spell slot, which Boredflak can use as long as he has the ring in his possession. When Boredflak attains 9th level, the spell slot assigned to the ring automatically becomes a 5th-level spell slot, and the bonus slot becomes a 3rd-level spell slot instead of a 2nd-level one.
You sense more, but cannot determine what it is.

Darius:
You too bore witness to the 'sun' exploding into a shower of fragments which rained down on the water around you. read earlier in the thread for details on this event. Your ship also made it through intact, but was shortly thereafter stranded in the place it now resides.
For weeks your ships has been stranded in the same location. No breeze flows to fill your sails, no current moves the ship. There is nothing but the warm fetid smell of salt water, and the red sun glaring down on each crew member. Crew members have been succumbing to a strange sickness, and going insane. Either they try to drink the sea water, or simply jump overboard and try to swim out to sea for no reason at all. Food has become a real concern, supplies are very low, even with the handful of crew left. No life swims outside the boat, so no new food sources are available.
It's been like this for days now, with water barrels being drained, food being consumed and not replenished, and crew members getting a touch of malady and killing themselves by drinking salt water or drowning.
One thing that is concerning is the fat that even those native to the sea seem to be unable to draw air from this cursed water. A few Sea Elves tried to find food and dove over board only to come back to the ship gasping, unable to breathe.

You

Cassandra, A female Aquatic Elf
Liam, a male Human
Four-O-Four, An excitable Warforged
Keev, a Female Half-Dragon(black) (wounded, unable to fly.)

If Belros and/or Cassandra were part of the diving crew
“Belros, I do not wish to force either of you to relive your drastic encounter but do either you or Cassandra remember from your experience under the waves how shallow the sea is here, or was there anything you remember seeing in your surroundings?” .Bracing himself for any emotional countenance from the aquatic elves. Darius lets his mind wonder, “I should have thought of something like this before, we have no wind and the sea is calm if not silently deadly to those who enter it, then there must be either something holding us or…. No there is always a solution no time to dwell on the negative I have been too selfish for far too long” "Selfishness isn’t the mark of a coward, only of a survivor..."

At the sound of Suny's voice Kai jerks, startled, out of the intense stare he was giving the incoming flyer. His frills flip out in embarrassment for a moment as he tries to compose himself. Looking down at Suny, he gives his usual toothy grin in welcome "Of coursse, what troubless you Friend Ssuny?" As he speaks he slowly lowers himself down until he is resting on his haunches trying his best to avoid towering over her.
"Suny"
Suny glances around at all the other people working, resting or playing about the ships deck and thinks for what seems like but a moment then shrugs,
"Aye, well it were concernin' some things t'ween youself an' me." She says. "Y'see, normally when m'self an' some one o' fancy end up t'gether..." She scratches her blond hair as she seems to search for words, "See, this be where me lack o' sneaky, clever knowin' o' peoples speak lets me down..." She mumbles.
"Anyway! After things have happened, kind'a like th' next day-sort'a thing-I often times find m'self wearin' a lil' somthin' left behind." She smiles at Kai, "Like a friendly partin' thing, y'ken?"
"Now, with m'self been taken by me strong like o' th' spirits, what do I find but me self awakening wrapped up in yer shirt, cape um thing-y, this fine day. So, with me havin' no memory of our time hammock tanglin' t'gether, that's whut I been thinkin' has happened, anyway." She grins at Kai, though the big lizard man can also see the Elf's cheeks blushing red, as sometimes the other people's skins do. Then Suny reaches out, softly puts a hand upon each of Kai's shoulders as she leans forwards and gently touches her lips to the end of his snout.
"I thank ye fer lookin' after me when I were taken unsensible by me fancy o' th' Rum." She whispers to Kai, "Ye're a true freind an' my people, we does respect such a thing." She steps back and grins at Kai.

With a great sigh, and great patience, Devannis finally had a moment to himself. He could be lost in mind as his hands held the wheel in place, ensuring the boat stayed on course.
His mind drifted to a very beautiful port-town, back on Faerun. He closed his eyes visibly, recalling the very wondrous ladies who crooked his arm to wear. He let a wide grin fill his face as he did so, and sighed again in contentment.

The pain was there but it disappeared. Closing his eyes and panicking, Raz fell on his knees. A moment passes and it is still silent, but the feeling on his arm is odd. Raz opens his eyes... and see the somekind of metal gauntlet locket around his left hand.
The gauntlet has a large Sapphire gem fitted to the back of the hand, that seems to radiate a dim light, it shifts colors slightly and settles on an dull blue glow once the bonding process finishes.
Feeling dizzy and not sure what happened, but suddenly: Knowledge beging to rush in your head, whispering, revealing secrets and giving promises of others, which are not yet revealed.
His hand flexing, the gauntlet flex. Part of his body and incredible flexible, like his own hand, Raz can feel the metal inside his skin and muscle tissues. Unnatural smooth and way it move along, Raz thoughs are running wildly to million directions What is this... It is beautiful... Ooh, with this it would be incredible to do --.... How I am going to explain this to others... The power! I can feel it.... This was inside the orb or this was the orb... What is my limit? as he looks at gauntlet.
Snapping back to reality, Raz pulls his left hand under his robe and hide it there. Something else also had changed. There was this strange, feeling of someone else being together with him. Focusing and closing his eyes, Raz imagined a room, comfortable with coaches and table, himself in middle of it. Turning around, someone else also appeared. Whispering to him in his mind We are together one master! I am you, You are me, we are one entity. With me you can do magic, what no one else can ever hope. I give you strenght and power and only up to serve you. You have already received the knowledge of using me, but there is plenty of more still hidden. Sadly, you can´t have access to them, until you are stronger, since... I am an ancient being, powerful one, who are only given to those, who are worthy and disappears. Opening his eyes and squeezing his hand/gauntlet together, Raz is thinking for new possibilites this had offered to him No anymore... no anymore, anyone around me will suffer and steps out the room and advance to the deck.
Gnome appears soon, his right arm still normally out from the robe, like with everyone else, but his left arm is hanging inside the robe, hidden from the eyes of others Recent murder and fear are too strong at this moment. I need to keep this hidden for a while, until everyone is relaxed... worst case, I will be blamed. Maybe I need to talk with that elf... what was her name, also a mage hm... maybe she has some spells on her book I don´t have yet. I have to start from somewhere
"Quartermaster" Kai'itza
Kai leaned closer as he saw Suny's skin tones change again and he listened intently as she talked about something he was unfamiliar with yet again, he hoped someday that he would understand the meaning of what the unscaled sometimes said. He was surprised when she placed her hands on his shoulders and leaned in and touched her lips to his snout, as his mind froze for a moment he tried to comprehend exactly what that mean't. But as he tried to think his breathing increased and he barely noticed his frills were fully erected and shaking. It took some effort to regain control of his senses, he forced his frills back down and tried to think of what to say. His usually grey scales seemed to turn lighter and darker in turn as his thoughts and emotions raced; he paced his breathing and tried to calm himself down.
What a strange sensation, so powerful and new, but why? As he begins to slowly calm down he shook his head for a moment before tilting it to the right a little. "It iss hard to undersstand all that you ssay friend, but I... I will alwayss protect thosse who are important to me. Esspecially when they are in need, and vulnerable to foul creatures. He smiles his large tooth grin as his chest rumbles from a light chuckle. "If you want you may always use my den for refuge if you need to, your presence is comforting and welcome. If you are sstill in need of the cloak of memories then you may continue to use it, it is wonderful to have on cold nights.” He continues to smile a moment longer as he watches Suny's reaction.
He slowly stands up back to his full height and stretches. He looks back out towards the approaching flyer and points to it for Suny’s benefit. With a more somber tone “It iss sstrange that sso much hass changed in sso little time, what would we be ssaying to each other two turnss of luna ago? Would we be alliess at all? It iss sstrange to be in a tribe with sso many different kindss, no?"
Gelied "Raz"
Seeing the action and people talking, Raz is able to relax for a while as he walks next to the railing and watches upon the see. Wind blowing and hitting his face, Raz smells the salty air.
Thinking of the last few minutes and happenings, he stills feels the tingling of metal and new... item/object/living being on his arm. Someone here should be able to tell me about this... or have knowledge, but that aquatic elf was kind of, well, odd in her own waz. Wondering, if she have some idea or exchanging of information as Raz looks around on deck to find Eithire.
Flexing and squeezing his left hang together, trying to get used to the feeling of metal. A weak whispering voice echoeing in his back of head speaking of tales and information of knowledge. The words of growing in power and achieving more knowledge, allured Raz, but he kept it out. Not now... until I know more and can be sure, it will benefit all of us
Slowly moving towards her and coughing to get her attention, Raz speaks to her in friendly voice Um... I wonder, if we could talk? I have recently been wondering about these situations, which are occurring here and everything seems to be strange. Would you like to change some information and think together? Pausing and looking her to eyes I would also be interested to... oh, well, to speak about other things. You are trying to find reason for magic diminishing and being weaker and I have also wondered about that. We or well, gnomes do have innate ability to use magic and well... I have maybe more than that, since I have somewhat studied it under some masters. I am not sure, but there is maybe a way to keep using them. Just a though of mine, but maybe interested to hear?
Raz will think for a while and then moves slowly around deck and then moves under the living quarters, seeking for Eithire. Upon finding her look to "Looking for Eithire" for the questions

After Checking on the state of the crew and remaining supplies Darius continues tries to come up with a plan to move the ship. The longer it remains still the quicker it becomes apparent that doom lies near.
“Now where is Four-O-Four, perhaps our sheepish ironman may be able to yet aid me with….this idea”
Cassandra: "Never had I swam in seas so lifeless, there was no air to breathe, and it felt warm, yet cold and lifeless. It is not something I wish to experience again. It is not natural."
DM: Looking for Four-O-Four isn't a hard chore to do seeing as there's so few people on the boat now. You find him just below deck pondering silent questions. He gives you a quick glance to see if you have the fevered look, and relaxes when he determines you seem sane.
He addresses you in a metallic voice that echos off the tight wooden walls.
Four-O-Four: "I'm still sane. You? Look it..." He pauses. "Yes. But are you? Must be. Accessing escape protocols. Error, not found. Memory missing. Allocating thought in that sector turns up corrupt data. Insufficient data or not found."
He scratches his metallic chin with an arm made from the same stuff, a glistening, and very silvery, hand. The majority of his body seems encased in the shiny metal, but there are segments an joints that hint at what looks like Darkwood. It seems someone invested a lot of resources into his construction. Appraisal pre-rolled, he's worth a lot in materials alone.
Four-O-Four: "Ah ha, the water bag has an idea? What do you require of this unit?"
Darius D. Drevard
Yes I might have an Idea Four-O-Four if you would here it. ”I wonder how many voices he’s hearing in his head or whatever he calls a mind in there... bah I’ll never get used to him.” ”You and me both”
And please don’t call me that, meatsack would sound a whole lot less appropriate given our circumstance and our less metallic selves wanting to avoid that future determination altogether now, I’d really appreciate it ”now that’s telling him, wait what, your… oh never mind I think I’m not needed here at the moment”
If I could borrow your strength along side Applejuice, and if possible any knowledge of rope working you might posses. I think it might be possible to row our way out of these dead waters throwing a gesture over his shoulder toward the bow of the ship at the bowsprit in particular, he pauses to see if the thought sinks in with the metal man.

Looking for Eithire
She is very interested in what you may wish to talk about in regards to magic and waits for you to brooch the subject first if you have something to say.
Eithire: "Er, hello, is it, Mr. Gelied?" She obviously struggles with your name, as if she should know you, or about you, but can't quite place the name to the face.
"You are a fellow Circle member aren't.." She catches herself. "...weren't you?"
Please make a sense motive, spot, listen, knowledge(arcana), roll while talking with her. Only 1 or 2 apply but I don;t want to lead you. Please do the rolls in order.

Four-O-Four: "I have extensive knowledge in the area of-" his voice changes to a monotone as he speaks the word "Anatomy. In fact it is quite common knowledge that you are made up mostly of water. Baby Waterbags seem to retain the most water ever. Why they are about seventy eight stones to one hundred stones worth of water. By age one that number of water stones drops to about sixty five stones. As your kind ages though you are right there is less water, about sixty stones even worth, but fatty tissue makes up more weight than meat. To call you a meat sack is inappropriate. And highly inaccurate."
"You don't wish to dispute this, I have valid memories of confirming these results. Ah two oh two, accepted. Yes let's move on to your proposal plan. I will compute plans of success upon hearing plan in it's entirety."

” …..” quietly swallowing his pride at that comment. Yes the plan, as it were we might have the tools to remove ourselves from this dire situation with a little imaginative thinking. ”You want to toss him overboard too…you know you want to, it would be easy just…”
"The bowsprit on the front of the ship, with your help we could remove it along with its support rigging and some extra planking from the fore castle we could create an extra large makeshift oar useable for rowing out of here since we have no wind nor current."
Taking a quick moment to finalize the rest of his plan mentally, looking straight up toward the yard pole on the mainmast and thinking to himself
so what do you think?

He laughs strangely.
"See because you're the wetwork, You know, water...and I'm metal, mithral actually...get it? Oh this humor thing, I'll never quite master it I'm afraid."
DM: He will help you with the task you set forth for him, going along with your plans cheerily.
Conceivably, There would be tools on board still, plenty of nails, hammers, whatever ship repair tools that would normally be present are located in the storage hold still.

Yes... and I would assume I still am member of Circle. I have been staying most of the time alone and focusing more to the theory side of magic and construction and mixing between alchemy and magic. Pausing for a moment and looking at Eithire Recent happenings in ships are quite... fast paced and there seems to be problem. I though that the problem also might be magical, so if we were to put our wise heads together, we might find solution. Chance also to research and talk about theory of magic is interesting me... and I would like to learn something new, I have to admit as he smiles openlz to Eithire and try to flirt, although little bit embarassed of it. I have heard of your problem and I might have come up with something and I believe its worth while discussing with you.
Looking around and then suggesting Um, if you don´t mind, we could move somewhere else and talk in private? Would also be more comfortable for us and looks at her eyes

Eithire: "I'd be happy to talk about the mysteries of the arcane with you, but now is not the time to be seen skulking about in shadows. I'm sure we can find a quieter spot on deck that is still out of range of those with keen ears. I don't want to be seen as someone with something to hide at a time like this."
"I do wish to hear about your magical problems though. I have been having my own, and they are maddening."
Gelied "Raz"
You are right. Now is not the time for hiding or being secret, but I always prefer little bit my own space and to be out of way. If we could move perhaps little bit further, so not to be in the distance of hearing our speaking? I am finding it little bit uncomfortable, but then there is nothing for me to hide
Assuming, that they are still on deck, but moving little bit more to side, so others will not be able to hear. If not, then I will be speaking directly to her in a low voice
The thing is, that the magic in this world seems to be now... covered by our own will and power. The case was same in our old world, but we were powered by the feeling of it and the magic was surrounding us. What I have gathered, that the magic is now coming from inside, but with sacrifise. When you want to cast magic, you have to give something in return and in this case, something physical, since we are dealing with power of minds.
Looking at the sea, Raz is having some thoughs crossing over his mind The lack of magic is also the issue, but something is connected with this. Did you receive any item or object from your masters, before being trasnferred here? If you may, could I get a look at it? That is only, if you allow me of course.
I am also interested to hear, what kind magic are you using or specialising to? I am this moment just doing my own stuff with other gnomes and trying to invent new things to help us. And as I spoke about the problems so far, I was thinking if we could find out something about these incidents, since this is clearly magical or something ... unnatural is going on here. Preparing for this would be best thing to do and I can see us maybe perfect solution for this. Helping each other is the goal, which seems to be necessary.
Keeping his gauntlet hand still inside his robe and thinking I don´t know if I should yet reveal... but then secrets are just causing more trouble. However, with this gauntlet... its still unnatural to have sometihng like this. My problems... its true that magic is weak and getting weaker and its harder to use. Before I said, that I solved it and its mental thing, but with cost. I still would need to know, how its for you and how are you feeling about it? I am... having an idea of what might be going on and affect, but would need to have some information

Belros and Cassandra head below deck, followed by Applejuice, who slowly nods it's head as he trails the Sea Elves. His limbs crack and pop and his leafy mane rustles in the humid air.
Liam shakes his head and speaks out.
Liam: "I 'aven't got a clue on the proper way out. I had thought it might be a good idea to try abandoning the ship and making our own row boats or something. But. I mean what's the point of that when we don't know where land is?"
Liam: "No. that won't work 'tall. You plan has merit though, use what muscle we can before we lose it and try to get ourselves out. No one else is gonna help us. I'll give them a hand below deck with the supplies."
Keev stays nearby to hear your words.
Her wounds, now that you're up close, looks more painful than she is letting on. Her wing looks broken even to someone with no medical training, and has a sickly purple tint. She keeps her arm clutched to her chest, and wheezes with every intake of breath. There were no healers on board so she has received no magical healing since the exodus through the gates.

@Nerine/Captain: What was done about the body of the young child in the water?
DM Narration: With Garth's scouting reports, and general directions he was able to provide, you can steer the ship into what you think is a current. Working against it slightly you muscle the ship a few hours in a random direction. You must be on the right track, as you find more shards of wood, flotsam, and jetsam, as you approach closer to what in the distance looks like a speck.
What does the captain order to do at this point? The speck appears to be a good 3 miles out at this point, too small for land, most likely a smaller ship.
Darius D. Drevard
Standing near Keev, Darius offers assistance in leading her to the aftcastle of the ship where she can rest in the shade instead of the exhausting sun. “Keev my dear you are in no shape to be standing out here in the sun where you could possible exhaust yourself let you retire to the shade of the aftcastle and continue to rest.”
“I know I’m the last one to be making any sort of promises but… if, when this plan works and we get moving my first priority will be to find a way to stabilize your condition you have my word on that but for now you need just to rest.”
“Look at you being all noble and chivalrous, making empty promises to a damsel in distress, albeit one who could probably rip your head off even in her condition”
After escorting Keev to the aftcastle to ensure she is out of the way of the commotion and not in danger of any accidental happenings Darius returns to the forecastle ad begins measuring mentally what they would need to safely remove the bowsprit without accidently dropping into the abyss and there by ruining their chance for freedom. If anything he knew deep down that this project could not be rushed, too much rested on the success of his futile imaginings and he wasn’t about to fail, not this time not after what happened so long ago.
He won’t repeat the same mistakes.
Darius takes in the sight of the ship and the surrounding vast ocean then finally to the sky at the broken sun and the red visage of a dark ominous orb hanging there has if mocking his very attempts “You broke my world, but you will not break me” Darius quietly swears to himself as if daring the omen to try. With one last look around him hoping to glimpse of anything else he might be able to use,

Darius does not flinch but finds renewed purpose and ready’s himself for the task at hand.
Once the others have returned with the tools Darius will begin aiding his crew in this endeavor, whatever labor needs doing, whatever encouragement needs saying, he will give them something to focus on over the grief of the past dark weeks.

Nothing was done - the Captain ensured that the child stayed hushed, as to not bring about further panic in a time of stress. Hopefully, this also passed to Nerine - he didn't really say to keep it quiet, as far as I recall.
Devannis peers forth into the distance. His eyes are weary from so much water, so much salt to see for miles and miles - it's as if he almost has given up on seeing land, or anything of the sort.
Then, and only then, does he notice the amount of wood in the water, and the speck in the distance.
His face grows a smile, a brilliant smile, and he whistles loudly to garner attention from the crew onboard.
"All hands, on deck! We've got company coming! Seems this current has led us towards another boat! I need everyone able-bodied on-deck NOW! We don't know if they'll be hostile or generous, so prepare yourselves! Our course is straight for that ship!"
He wears a grin now as he finishes, and adjusts his tricorne. His face holds this false smiling, and closes his eyes for a moment.
"Kai! Nerine! Suny! To the helm!" he'd cry after, having a plan forming in his mind. He licked his lips once, and played with the hilt of his cutlass.
Tonight, we will have more guests - but will they be living, or be dead?
"Carpenter" Nerine Waverider
The child was dead Captain, there was no need to hush the poor little one. I had 'Flier dive and let the current take the child. I saw no reason to to keep him/her with us once you were aware of it and had decided to follow the current. Making no means to get the body on board while you did so I might add.
