Is this going to be run here in messageboard form, or actually via email? If we're doing it by email, I've yet to experience that format so I don't know exactly how it works for a D&D game.

Today is the day I will finish sending backstory pieces, setting adjustments, and approving the final sets of stats and abilities for you folks.
Still looking for one to two more players, hopefully they show up. If not, like I said, I'll have you level before we begin to compensate. Hopefully it won't take too long to fill up.

Hmm, we seem to have a distinct lack of any sort of spell-casting, ranged damage, or tanking capability.
I have a friend who might be interested, although he's somewhat new to the game. I'll ask him and get him to post here if he's interested.

Character Sheet: Myth-Weavers
The rogue abundance is workable. Each of you seem to be heading in a different direction with it. We've got a rogue/arcane caster, an investigator type, and a rogue/ranger. I am more than happy to bring in a newbie so long as I can offer guidance via email as not to flood the pbp thread.

That lends a good balance of arcane casting, divine casting and muscle to our otherwise very rogueish party.
Atherton, did I send your backstory tidbits yet? I've got everything saved so if I havent sent it your way just holler.

Since I didn't get an email from you...here is your info...only minor tweaks.
A figure of authority in the underworld, Nadine Savares has given a task to the promising and efficient asset you have become. She "advises" you to travel to Kothas, the hub of the provinces, and meet with someone of great importance to her both personally and professionally. Nadine mentions casually that you will enter the city by way of the ferry near the southern end of the harbor, and you will do it within a week. "It is vital, and the rewards alone will keep you satisfied for months. The partners you might make, however, will last a lifetime..." She knew you were worth your salt from the moment you turned her down. It's not every day that a woman like Nadine is rejected by a man. Especially when she's already undressed. You have a decent history with the girl, and she's always set you up nicely before.

Everyone, how often are you planning on posting? I'm more than willing to go at your pace...just need to know what that is. I set a twice a week minimum but if everyone is able, I'd love to boost that number up a little.

I apologize in advance for my character being fairly wordy >.<; don't know any easier way to condense my info so hopefully it isn't too much of a bother. Tried to lay it all out fairly easy and plain to avoid confusion, also kept everything spaced apart to avoid clumping ^^;

Iron kingdoms is a decent steam punk system you could look at =) I've played in that setting many times and it seems well balanced to me. Its based in 3.5e though.
I've heard a lot of good things about IK. I just don't have the money to invest in new RPG books right now XD
