Is there a problem with the downloader?

When I try to download anything from my downloads page, the page reloads and nothing happens. Instead I get an unspecified error at the bottom left of the page. Below is what I get when I double click the error.

Message: Unspecified error.

That's an error we've seen before, but not specifically related to the downloader. Internet explorer 8 seems to not like the library we use to allo auto-complete to work in our search boxes (not that it seems to stop anything from working properly.)

Can you give me more information about what browser you're using, and which files are giving you the trouble when you try to download them?

I'm using IE8, do you need the version number?

I was trying to download the updated Obsidian Twilight Campaign Setting pdf. I tried going straight to that today with no luck.

Previously, I couldn't download anything, they all generated the same error.

This time i started customizing something from each publisher in my dowloads page, starting until I got to Louis Porter Design, suddenly they all worked.

10 minutes ago ==> Nothing worked.
1 minute ago ==> Everything works...

A little confused as to why, but I'll attribute it to Paizo's awesome tech people and leave it at that.

I am having problems downloading from the downloads page.

I run Windows Explorer 7 as my web browser and the free Panda cloud anti-virus.

I am able to download the Errata and the web enhancement ok.

When I try to download the documents listeded under Paizo Publishing LLC I have the problem.

First Panda Cloud anti-virus says it has deleated a Trojan virus.

Windows then downloads 99% of the file then I get a

Cannot copy file: Cannot read from the scource file or disk.

Does Panda give you any more information about the 'Virus' it detects? I assure you that our downloads do not contain viruses.

Does Panda give you an 'ignore' or 'allow' button when it presents the error? I think it is mistakenly blocking your download.

I run Firefox v3.6.10, and I do not get anything when I try to download the Ultimate Magic playtest PDF. The page just refreshes and there is nothing downloaded.

EDIT: Must have been a busy server. Got the PDF after I sent Ross an email. Thanks guys and gals.

Everything ok, Just had to turn off the Panda Cloud antivirus while I made the downloads then turned it back on.

Just needed to know you site had no virus problems.
