Oracle Mystery Spells gained before it can cast them?

I'm rolling up a fresh 3rd lvl Oracle of the Battle Mystery.

I noticed that at 3rd lvl I get a bonus Mystery spell "enlarge person"
which is a second level spell.
I also noticed that all of the Mystery spells are 2nd level or above.

At 3rd level, an Oracle can only know 5 Orisons, 3 first level spells, and can not know second level spells at all.
In addition, they cannot cast second level spells at all.

So my question is, why are we given this bonus spell if we are too low level to know it or cast it?

Or in the other case, if the Oracle in question has a bonus second level spell from a high Charisma, can they in fact cast the spell?

Enlarge person is a level one spell.

Edit: Also, Oracles get their bonus spells at 2nd, 4th etc.- are you actuually looking at the APG or working off the playtest? Oracle of Battle gets enlarge person at 2nd level.

Worst part is, I HAVE the book, but it's at home, and I'm at work.
