I was wondering if I got a Headband of Charisma and Ioun stone that also works for charisma would they stack to get both bonuses. I don't think they would but I figured it wouldn't hurt to get another opinion.

Same named bonuses don't stack. Unnamed bonuses do stack.

Since both the headband and the ioun stone are an 'enhancement' bonus, they don't stack since they are the same 'named' bonuses.

If you had a item which they grants an enhancement bonus to charisma with an item which granted an inherent bonus or other name bonus to charisma - those would stack since they are different named bonuses.

This. It means you can't stack unnamed bonuses from the same thing (like the same spell cast multiple times, or an identical item). Unless it explicitly allows it (like some Ioun Stones actually, from Seekers of Secrets).
