Is the spiritual ally immune to bull rush and other CM? If yes, it provides a fantastic way to protect a group from enemies in tigh spaces...
The spiritual ally is immune to conventional attacks, and has no listed CMD. I would assume that you can't use CMs against it.
Since PC allies can walk through the Spiritual Ally, I guess their ranged attack could also pass through. Any though on that?
I disagree. The creature actually occupies its space and is actually there. Allies can walk through it not because it's incorporeal to its allies but because allies can always move through each others' squares. Penalties for soft cover, firing into melee, etc. still apply.

it should function like any other ally for purposes of ranged fire.
most ranged combat specialists take the feats for avoiding these penalties,
but characters for ranged combat is secondary (including casters using ranged touch spells) might still suffer them.
the thing is that even if you consider it to be incorporeal,
it would still provide visual cover/concealment when shooting thru it. (and counts as in melee with any opponents, since presumably it is weaving and dodging amidst it`s entire 5´ square to cover the enemy`s movements - if you`re standing dead still you would not be in combat, but that would allow enemies to pass thru it`s square)
if all you`re using the spiritual ally for is taking up space, it seems reasonable that it could `ready` an action to press against the wall, etc (removing the penalties for soft cover, firing into melee, etc), when the party archer / ray caster / etc is about to fire. i would say that doing so definitely takes up a standard action, precluding normal combat actions.
