Any chance of some Anne Stokes doing some covers for Paizo?

Soesn't have to be covers - but she'd be darn good at them.

Seconded.

Thirded!

Dark Archive

Third... ninjaed!

+1 Anything by Anne is alright by me.

Sovereign Court

She's very talented but a little too much like Boris Vallejo for me...

That red dragon is *old skool*! I dig it. Not so into the angels and fairies, however.

Scarab Sages

You've already hired her husband before; think of the money you'd save mailing two pieces of artwork in one package!

The Exchange

Rocks.

I've passed this on to Sarah Robinson.

I think it's too different than the current art in Paizo products.

I prefer this look to the art in current Paizo products.

Not talking quality, talking style.

Jon Brazer Enterprises

My first reaction: DUDE! This is awesome!

My second reaction: There is no way I can afford her.

That's a nice dragon for sure...but the original one looks like it should have been a cover for one of the old box sets. I liked it on a pile of loot...on a cathedral makes me think Reign of Fire. :)

Hmm. I wonder which upcoming Paizo product(s) could make use of her amazing "Yin Yang Guardian"?

EDIT: Whoa. She's got some really fantastic stuff in her portfolio. And I'm definitely buying that Tarot deck!!

It looks like she's already doing some work for wizards. That may effect her willingness to do Pathfinder.

Let's hope not, for our sake. Besides, some artists (WAR) clearly work both sides of the fence ;-)

I don't know, some of her stuff might go well in settings where a break from Paizo's art style wouldn't be all the unexpected. Perhaps the horror adventure AP come out next year or the Asian setting. I like her stuff, though I see what you mean about it being different from the prevailing style of the hardbacks. Style issue might not be so big a deal for the cover of one of the softcover lines. And you know the digital painting technique she's using is going to look just great on a pdf.

I have her calendar..simply gorgeous work

Silver Crusade

dottin' the thread for later perusal :)

Scarab Sages

I heartily endorse hiring more Yorkshire folk, in the deluded hope that it will hasten Paizo's eventual relocation to the UK.

That lady sure likes dragons.

But her stuff is great - except the 4e stuff, of course! ;-P

All flamebaiting aside, I do think some of the 4e stuff in that gallery is off. I could spot them even without looking at names or the "....for 4e..." part on the bottom. Not as good as the rest of her stuff, and not fitting into her style, either. Other 4e stuff in that gallery is fine, and little to none of the 4e stuff is off or not-as-good.

I wonder whether she had to follow some guidelines for those pieces of art.

Oh, and I think her fixation on dragons might not be healthy. A lot of females and dragons in the same pictures. ;-)

Still, I agree that she should do Pathfinder.

i know what you mean...

I do have seen a very similar dragon un the D&D red box, its not exactly the same, but it does bring him to mind every time I see it... sans the viking warrior about to be eaten of course :P

Hmm... time to stoke this fire. ;)

She's a pretty good artist - hadn't heard of her before! Wouldn't mind seeing her work on Paizo products.

EDIT: Did a google search on her art. She's not big on drawing men, is she?
