Perfect Strike from APG

I've been searching, and although I see plenty of people asking, haven't found any answers.
Is it deliberate that Perfect Strike is not usable with Unarmed Strikes?

Based on table entry and the unarmed strike prereq it seems more likely that the usual rule of text > table might be wrong here.

I find myself wondering the same thing... I've searched the boards and am usually good at being thorough and have yet to find anything. I've seen the question asked several times, but nothing remotely official.

In the table it says unarmed strikes, in the description it says monk weapons and in the rules text it gives very specific monk weapons from the core rulebook...

From what I've read so far, it seems most people are going with the melee monk weapon method.

Hope we get an answer.
