Heirloom weapon question

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

in the Heirloom Weapon trait (adventurer´s armory page 30)

the trait says that you gain a masterwork weapon, you are proficient with THAT weapon, and you gain a +1 trait bonus on attack rolls qith THAT weapon.

my question is: you gain a +2 on attack rolls (+1 trait and +1 masterwork) or do you only gain the +1 trait bonus¿?

thanks

both. they are different bonus' and stak

Shadow Lodge

The +1 from the mw weapon is an enhancement bonus, the bonus from the trait is a trait bonus, so they would stack for a +2 to attack, of course, that is only for that particular unique weapon, should you pick up another just like it you'd lose the trait bonus.

The +1 from the trait is a trait bonus to attack. The +1 from masterwork is an enhancement bonus. They stack because they are not of the same type. So yes, this feat effectively gives you a +2 at first level.

The masterwork weapon that you get through this can also be made magical through normal enchanting. As long as you use the weapon, you will always get the +1 trait bonus, though the masterwork bonus does not stack with a magic weapon's enhancement bonus.

Liberty's Edge

It also say:

"but you pay only the standard cost at character creation."

standard as in NORMAL price of a normal weapon?

or the standard masterwork price? (i think thats +300g)

Grand Lodge

You get the masterwork quality (+300gp) added to the weapon for free.
