Why does everyone always insist on a dev answer for simple queries?
Inappropriately Sized Weapons: A creature can't make optimum use of a weapon that isn't properly sized for it. A cumulative –2 penalty applies on attack rolls for each size category of difference between the size of its intended wielder and the size of its actual wielder. If the creature isn't proficient with the weapon, a –4 nonproficiency penalty also applies.
This can also be figured out by reverse engineering pretty much any of Amiri's stat blocks, although admittedly it gets harder in the higher level versions.

the only reason i ask for a dev to answer is to root out speculative answers and opinions, the devs know what the intent is for an ability or rule or game option.
but i do appreciate your answer and that is what i figured the answer was i just wanted it to be confirmed
Sorry I kinda lashed out, I just see simple queries insisting on dev answers a lot and it winds me up. I'm also coming down with a fever so i'm cranky.
The above rules I have quoted are correct- and in all of Amiri's statblocks she takes a -2 penalty on attack rolls becaus of it. Rules for using weapons too large for oneself were in 3.5 too- monkey grip just lessened the penalties IIRC.

Amiri has the feat exotic weapon proficiency bastard sword that allows her to use a bastard sword in one hand. This allows her to use a large bastard sword as a two handed weapon at a penalty of -2. More so she could not wield a large greatsword because it would be too large requiring two hands as a medium weapon.

She doesnt use the bastard sword in two hands though. Ironically, she doesn't even need the exotic weapon proficiency to use it in two hands which is her default...
As far as I can tell, she could use the weapon at -2 even without the feat in two hands- taking the -2 penalty as listed on the quote I provided.

I remember something in her backstory about the sword being a trophy from a dead Frost Giant that she can only use effectively when she is raging. Her barbarian rage bonuses counter the inappropriate weapon penalties. But when not raging, she is at a disadvantage. Remember that iconics are all about flavor and not optimized.

The measure of how much effort it takes to use a weapon (whether the weapon is designated as a light, one-handed, or two-handed weapon for a particular wielder) is altered by one step for each size category of difference between the wielder’s size and the size of the creature for which the weapon was designed. For example, a Small creature would wield a Medium one-handed weapon as a two-handed weapon. If a weapon’s designation would be changed to something other than light, one-handed, or two-handed by this alteration, the creature can’t wield the weapon at all.
If Amiri uses a large bastard sword without taking the exotic proficiency bastard sword feat the bastard sword is larger than a two-handed weapon and cannot be wielded by a medium character. By taking the feat she can wield a normal size bastard sword in one hand and a large bastard sword in two hands.
Amiri in the Kingmaker adventure path starts out with exotic weapon proficiency (bastard sword) and weapon focus (bastard sword).

Any character with martial proficiency can use a bastard sword in two hands. This one is designed to be wielded by a large creature, thus it is a bastard sword designed for a large creature- and thus a -2 penalty applies.

So, I have a question about this. It does say cumulative, so if I have, say, 3 attacks, is it at -2/-4/-6?

A huge dagger is: a light weapon for a huge creature, a one handed weapon for a large creature at -2, and a two handed weapon for a medium creature at -4.

i almost want to say that based on the words used the cumulative penalty isnt based on light/one handed/twohanded but rather the character size compared to weapon size.
im not saying your wrong im just saying if you just look at the rule and the words used thats what it seems like

Northbrb is correct. The word "cumulative" relates to "each size category". So one size category difference is -2, two size categories difference is -4, etc. Once you know the penalty, you apply that exact penalty to every attack you make.
