Abjurant Champion questions

Looking for info on the abjurant champion, can anyone list the PrC for me, I am looking at playing a pal/Soc anyone have info on if this is a good set up or not?

Unless its in the APG (which I don't have yet), the Abjurant Champion is a 3.5 splatbook prestige class which is NOT OGL. I think it was in Complete Arcane or Complete Mage.. I forget which..

It's a five level Gish PrC in Complete Mage. Since it has full BAB, d10 hit die, full spellcaster progression, as well as some solid abilities it's one of the best PrC's for level dipping.

Second firest. EVERY f/mu or wiz/sorc build should take abj Champion if they qualify. there's no good reason NOT to.

Mage armor +5? Shield +5? Greater Mage Armor +5? yes, please.

it doesnt work for shield, its conj not Abj (or it might be mage armor, its one of them). they mention it in the example and got it wrong. Way to proof read!

Don't forget extending your abjurations and quickening the low-level abjurations for free either. In a sorcerer, that'd be free quickened dispel magics.

Mage armor is Conjuration. But the writers didn't take that into account when they made the stats for the example character in the book and the only Abjuration spell with an armor bonus that I could find was in the book of Exalted Deeds.
