Question about enchanting a weapon

Rules Questions

I WAAS going to take Silent Spell feat as a Rogue/Sorcerer to be able to cast True Strike while Stealthed/invisible (ring) for a devistating Sneak Attack, and the DM suggested that I might take something else cause if I got craft arms/armor I could put True Strike on a weapon as an enchant.

Is that technicaly possible? And wouldnt that make a broken as heck weapon where I almost wouldnt even need to ro,ll to use it??

Technically, yes. But only a foolish DM would allow such an item to be built.

How would one do that, technically?

As long as the item requires a standard action to activate, therefore allowing an attack only every other round at best, it's not broken at all. Trying to make TS use activated or continuous is where the word "broken" comes into play.

The Magic Item Compendium (3.5) has an item (gloves) that allows for TS a limited number of times per day. It's more expensive than the formulaes would indicate, but definitely not broken.

Just remember, Standard action to activate = Good. Anything else = Broken.

Hope this helps.

Right, but it seems that since True Strike has a target of "You," it couldn't be cast on a Weapon to make it a permanent +20 weapon.

Man that +20 on use weapon would have been nice lol

Theres already a bow that when its used with all its abilities does something on the order of 50 plus damage at lvl 4

And a Paladin that smites Evil witha sword for about that too
