"You place a curse on the subject. Choose one of the following.
–6 decrease to an ability score (minimum 1).
–4 penalty on attack rolls, saves, ability checks, and skill checks.
Each turn, the target has a 50% chance to act normally; otherwise, it takes no action.
You may also invent your own curse, but it should be no more powerful than those described above."

What constitutes a curse of similar (but not more powerful) effect as the three options given?
Let's get a thread of options going here.

"All unclaimed coin you discover will be in copper."
"You will be unable to see during the day." (Note that blindness/deafness is the same level)
"Every time you heal someone, you will lose in kind." (Lose like 1/4 to 1/2 the health you heal)
"Swords will appear as snakes to you." (Can't wield a sword, might get a minus to initiative checks against small snakes).
All sorts of random ideas.

You take 1 hit point of damage per spell level you cast. This damage does not heal naturally and any magically healing must succeed on a Caster Level check with a DC equal to 15 + the caster level of the caster that cast bestow curse.
-8 to skill checks associated with a particular ability score.
-6 to all skill checks.
-8 to CMD.
-10 foot penalty to speed.
-20 on intiative rolls.
You always recover the minimum amount from any kind of magical healing.
-6 to all Saving Throws.
-6 to attack rolls.
Your true love does not recognize you.
The initial reactions of NPCs are 2 categories worse than normal towards you, and you suffer -12 on Diplomacy skill checks.
Whenever you make a Perception skill check, you roll twice and use the worse result.

Creatures of the animal and beast types are all automatically hostile towards you and will attack on sight
The targets hair grows at the rate of 1 foot a day and cannot be cut.
Even worse if it was all of their body hair
Every time you draw your weapon or pull an item out of storage, there is a 50% chance that you instead pull out a live chicken (a recipe for hilarity if you combine this one and the first curse I suggested)

Did anybody else get the image of link being attack by a cuckoo after reading that?

Lament of the Heirless: You can not conceive or sire a child.
Curse of Evernight: Natural Light Sun/Moon/Stars provide no illumination for your eyes. You must always carry a light source.
Curse of Nature's Ire: Animals are always hostile to you. When you encounter them they either respond with a flight or fight response. You can not interact with them through any means unless magic is used to override this effect.

Curse of Babble: Every 5th word spoken is in a random language (even one they don't know!). Potentially adds spell failure %
Curse of Blandness: You are never satisfied with food or drink, and have an obsessive craving to eat anytime you see food, just to be disappointed with the result.
Curse of Zoo-phobia: You fear all wild animals. You are shaken in the presence of wild animals smaller than yourself and are frightened by wild animals your size or larger. Only works for Animal type creatures.
Curse of the Monkey: You grow a tail, which is naturally CN and has a mind of its own. If removed, it grows back in 1d2 days, during which you are distracted from an un-scratch-able itch in your nether region.
Curse of the Butterflies: When you speak, butterflies and moths issue forth from your mouth. 1 minute of conversation can fill a 10' radius full of such creatures, granting total concealment to all in the area.
Curse of the Taunting Tattoo: A living tattoo grows on a visible part of your body. Its alignment is opposite your own on both axes. It can speak, gesture and generally belittle you of its own accord.
