Congrats to Mark (yoda8myhead) and all the contributors! Good luck in the voting.
I am speechless. In the last year, I've been so busy with freelance writing and editing that I haven't been as active as several other members who have really made the site awesome. I hope to share the ENnie win with all our Chroniclers who've helped make it the site it is.
So vote for PathfinderWiki when ENnies voting opens, and help improve the site as you're able by editing pages and adding content.

D20PFSRD vs. Pathfinder Wiki
Yoda8myhead vs. jreyst
Paizo vs. Paizo
Whoever wins, WotC los... ahem, I mean, we win ! ;)
Is PF and OGL market domination looming on the horizon? Has an era of dragons ended and era of bluish math golems begun? Will adult underoos ever come back into style?

Edible underoos?
"Eat the Hulk, baby."
"Ex-cuuuuuse me?!"
(points)
"Oh... What flavor?"
"Mint. Duh."

Go PathfinderWiki!
In celebration of this honor, I have completed a complete index of James Sutter's new book "City of Strangers" (link).
Oh wait, I had been doing that already.
Nevermind.
Go PathfinderWiki!
EDIT: Now I'm even more bummed that I won't make it to GenCon this year.

I'll vote for d20pfsrd if they fix the blasted site search
I'd love to make the search more accurate, and given that the site is hosted on Google Sites and uses Google Search, you'd think it would be better. Unfortunately though, we really have limited options when it comes to changing how the search function works. We can ADD new search options, and tweak page content to try to make the right page come up in a search, but we can't programmatically alter the search feature itself.
That said, CONGRATS TO MARK (and everyone else who helps on it)! PathfinderWiki is an awesome site and fully deserves a nomination. A win? I dunno if I'd go that far though ;)

Sorry I missed you on my first scan of the nominations page. Congrats! Well done!

That's odd because yours is the only site I have this problem with. d20srd.org doesn't have it.
EDIT: It is also easier to find the stuff I'm looking for on your site using Google.

I'd just like to point out that no one has ever complained about the search functionality on PathfinderWiki.
I should hope not given the straight implementation of the wiki template.

Please go to d20pfsrd.com. Type "scent" into the search engine. See if you even get the Special Abilities page where it is defined.

it first goes here Which while not perfect does indeed have a working link for the above.

Lolno.
Compare this
With this
And this
The PFSRD site search doesn't even pull a 1st page link to the Special Abilities page. For this search, it is actually half-way down the second page. I've seen worse for other searches.
The guys over at d20pfsrd.com have something configured wrong. What it is, I don't know, but it's definitely something.

Big congrats on this Mark. I use your site and d20pfsrd.com every single time I do any gaming. That right there lets you know how well respected, and useful your site is.
Thanks! I want to make sure I'm not stealing the credit for the site from all the other contributors who do just as much if not more work than me in getting content up there and making it look good. I may be the most vocal and visible member of the PathfinderWiki team, but it's the whole community's site and anyone who's ever made even a single edit on it deserves praise and recognition for their efforts.

Indeed, Mark, but HUGE congrats in any case. The Pathfinder Wiki is an indispensable part of my writing routine, and I'd be like a little lost puppy, flipping through multiple tomes and pdfs without it. Major kudos to you and all contributors, and count on all of our support when the polling opens! Ya' dun good work!

Hey Cartigan (or anyone really) I made some changes to search on the site - can you check if its any better for you and then reply on my other thread (the one for the d20pfsrd.com nominated thread etc) so we don't clutter this thread with non-related matters.

I wanted to take the opportunity to deliver the thanks I would have had we won an award tonight. While the recognition of being nominated is more than we could have ever asked for, not winning doesn't change the recognition that is deserved by everyone who has made the Wiki's success possible.
First and foremost, thanks to Paizo for creating a system that has inspired so many of us to a level that we have dedicated our free time to making this resource and for being so open with their content for fan-generated, non-commercial projects such as this.
I'd also like to thank fellow Chroniclers, Admins, and members of the greater Paizo community. This isn't just recognition of the most active users, but of everyone who has or will contribute to the site in the future. Everyone involved in any aspect should be proud of the Wiki's success. Keep up the great work.
I think it is fitting that the two sites that took home the awards tonight are both collaborative projects much like our own. It bodes well for the work we have and will continue to put into this labor of love. We have a specialized audience of not only Pathfinder players but players in a specific setting. Though we'll probably always have a smaller fan-base than setting-neutral and even moreso system-neutral resources like d20pfsrd.com and Obsidian Portal, the fact that we all utilize user-generated content to aid others in their games shouldn't be overlooked. What we are doing is important, and we all have that to be proud of.
Yeah, I'm disappointed we didn't win, but this just gives us all the more motivation to make the next year even more productive. If Obsidian Portal can win twice in a row, we can get nominated twice, right?
Thanks again for everything!
