We could do a welcome new people/SM get better blitz.:)

Does that mean we can dismiss certain people from the boards?

I like this thought process....

~chuckles~ Well, it is a bit less than 60 days. We will be getting married at the Davneport House Museum courtyard at 5:30 pm on 2-14-2011. It is just a ten minute ceremony, but it is still a nice place. After that, we will be meeting some of my friends at the Crystal Beer Parlor for a little get together.
AWESOME! Congrats. :)

Nope. If he mauls the neighbor across the street, winter ends early. If its the next-door neighbor, it's eight more weeks. :)

I could be in trouble in that case. I can get pretty cranky on political threads.;)

Yes, ON FB just use a thread in all of the places you can. Add it like a slice of pie too.
Here, well Fryer set up a SPuerbowl thread, you can always take it over. :)

Got into the office late - don't have an ice scraper anymore and couldn't get into the car. I'd brought my laptop home to work from home for just such a case, so I puttered about on the laptop this morning...then my home internet started crapping out. Well...it's late morning, maybe things have warmed up close enough to freezing I can get my car cleared. I start the car and turn on the heaters full blast, and have to use (so embarassing) a plastic food spatula and a wooden rice paddle to scrape enough ice off that my car is road worthy.
The drive in was quite anti-climactic, but I think that's mostly because I already always take side roads into work. Most of the highways are at least partially shut down.
I think we had about 10% of people show up to work today.

I guess not, given the response. I thought "jockpuppet" was a coining of singular wit and hilarity, given all the female sockpuppets, but...waa...

Where is hubby?
I haven't seen Moorluck today. As for my hubby, he's working. He finished his thesis and submitted it but he managed to get a contract with the Wildlife Service that'll take him til summer to complete and then he has another contract for a month this summer in Alaska. So he's been busy.

Wow. What line of work are you in?
I'm a librarian.
And mostly I love my job, but I'm pretty introverted, so being a supervisor requires constant effort and communication, because my natural instinct is to hole up in my office and get stuff done. :)

Morning all. What did I miss?
Well, Larry was fully prepared to declared his feelings for Laura, until he learned that she still had feelings for his uncle's son's former college roomate. Meanwhile, Linda was shocked to learn that, despite her best efforts, Lana was going to go through with her plans to sell their late father's prized collection of Will Wonka and the Chocolate factory prop memorabilia. And, across town, several travellers were trapped when flood waters filled with ferocious....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

I have talked to the doctor, she says the nausea will decrease over a matter of weeks (it has a little still a pain though) the sleeping is a consequence of more serotonin in my system I just have to power through it I guess. And as for the knee I hesitate to mention it because I have had knee surgery before and hated it, and I hope to never have knee surgery ever again.
