Married life is no different. I guess we're a bit more tight with our money. We looked at our long-term future and decided being in debt is a bad idea. Only $8-ish grand more to go!! But other than that, when we did the wedding , it was more of a formality.
Health....is okay. I have a doctor appointment on February 8th. They want to look at my brain and see if it's healthy (No Aberzombie) enough for me to run some tests.
Well, that's good progress on the getting out of debt. :)
And I hope everything goes well with the tests.

lol. Yeah...I really should know better. But when it was taking more than an hour for the pea soup to cook I thought I'd just turn up the heat....yeah. That was a really bad idea. On the bright side I got most of the goop off of the bottom of the pan and the kitchen only kind of smells nauseating now. :/

That's the one, and yes, certainly some sort of violation.
Oh well, if that's the worst thing I can complain about, I guess life is not so bad (just a little odd).

You're right. That didn't sound right. In fact, it sounded very, very wrong....I mean, really, man, there has to be an easier way to get heat. o.O

One of the many things I'm happy about marrying my wife is she is very good at managing our finances, and kicking my ass when I spend too much money on gaming stuff. :)

Don't get me wrong, I like pea soup. One of the few weird 'yankee foods' my mom managed to get me to eat. But it still reminds me of The Exorcist.

1) There is such a thing as a limit for that?
2) You could be squandering it all instead on booze with the guys at the bar. She should settle for your current vice; unreservedly. ;-)

Well, she has stated that gaming is preferable to me being an alcoholic or drug abuser. That's something, right?

As long as she tells herself that our precious, precious gaming loot is not a drug. It's a way of life. A lifestyle choice.

You need at least one of those in a relationship. :)
