Moff: Sorry to hear the hypochondriac story. I recently found out through a friend how complicated food allergies can be. You might send her to a specialist to shut her up. There's a really good one in Seattle.
Ha!
She's been to "specialists". She keeps looking until she finds one who will give her the same diagnosis that she's already given herself.
She's not looking for a solution then. She's just looking for validation to keep up being the pain that she is.
Sorry to be blunt, but that's the way it's looking. :/

I've known that for years now. It just keeps getting worse.

I know how to write complaint letters. Score one more for Moff...
After all the car problems/repairs we were having recently, I sent Midas a rather pointed letter. Long story short -- they're refunding me 10% of the bill. The bill came to around $1,200 -- so that at least helps a little.
That's something, at least.

Actually, in this case I wasn't expecting anything. At least it's more that just saying "yep, we dropped the 'ball'".

Ok, so we were at Cave of the Winds (and if you are ever in Colorado Springs -- DON'T GO THERE) waiting for our "tour" to start. There was one of those stupid mechanical mini horses that you put something like $14 in that rocks a little back and forth for 2 year olds to ride. Apparently there are a lot of people in the world that don't have enough to do with their money because it kept getting run and it had this lame country/western tune it kept playing. The more I heard it, the more it sounded familiar. When I recognized it, I was horrified.
Yep, still on "random".
Is it time to go home yet?

Yup. I don't do business with Midas or Ammaco any more.

Hey FDM --
** spoiler omitted **
AARRRGGHH! ORIGINAL POST GOT EATEN!!!!
Long story short, I'm okay. I'm just a little tired after week of in-laws visiting- and that week isn't over yet. I'm also a little apprehensive about the upcoming trip to SC after I go to Otakon- the first two days will be with a friend of mine that I've known online for ten years(!) but never met, the remainder of the week will be spent with my father, whom I love, but have always been a little distant from since I grew up with my mom.
I'm good though. Thanks for asking!

Awright folks, time to head home for the day. I think I'm doing dinner with my wife and father-in-law. Here's hoping everyone else's day is comparatively stress-free! :-D
Thanks again for the concern, Moff- it really means alot to me.
Not a problem. Believe me, I know about in-law stuff. Especially right now...

LOL! I totally missed it until you pointed it out.
