Can an inquisitor or any caster with the spell for that matter case Bane on a bow vs the arrow. Had a discussion with another player on this one, they though that it only made sense to have bane on the arrow as it was what was doing the actual damage to the enemy. That argument makes sense, but sucks if you are playing an inquisitor that picked up the range feats

The Bane enhancement is listed on the Ranged weapons table under the Weapons section of Magic Items, so I see no reason it couldn't be on the bow.

Ah ha, link yeilds this important line in a footnote:
2 Bows, crossbows, and slings crafted with this ability bestow this power upon their ammunition.
