Couldn't agree more! I've been watching since the first episode and love the show - highly recommend everyone check it out.

I hated about the first 3/4 of the first season to the point where I was pretty irritated that it was the lead-in for Heroes. But Heroes went into the toilet and Chuck rebounded impressively. The second season was great and the third, despite budget cuts, came off better still. It's been steady improvement ever since, to the point where it's one of the few shows I bother making an effort to watch new episodes as they air.

I shall miss Jeffster, though. Not as much as I would have missed the frequently-undressed Captain Awesome, but I don't see how those two would fit into the show's new premise.

I'm gonna miss the Big Guy more than Jeffster. TBH, Jeff kinda creeps ME out, and that ain't an easy thing to do.

The manager at the Buy More... Ah, Big Mike, that's his name.

I also wonder what's going to happen to General Beckman.

Oh, OK. I was afraid you meant Col. Casey.

I had heard they were streamlining the cast, but I was not sure who was in and who was out.

As long as Sara remains, I'm OK!

I miss Hannah. :^(

I think it stands at Chuck, Sarah, Col. Casey, Morgan, Elle and Awesome. A good size for 'main cast'. We'll get Shaw as the recurring villain and I'm sure Beckman will be worked in somehow, we'll likely see Casey's daughter and her mom from time to time as well.

Oh, right - I really liked Hannah as well. I wonder why they started that arc only to end it? Maybe she will come back for an episode or two next season.

I think next season will be pretty interesting ...

That's a large part of the appeal of Jeffster to me. That and Vik Sahay is great eye candy. Not as good as Awesome, but who could compete with Mr. Fanservice?

We've been watching it over again from Season 1 since the finale. Sarah and all her throwing knives in the pilot always make me think of Merisiel. :)

I'd be sorry to lose Big Mike & Jeffster!, especially since I recently heard an interview with Vik Sahay talking about how excited he was about the show getting renewed for another year.

Saw Ep 2 of the new season. Is that the new old spice guy as one of the Buymore agents?

Yes, indeed it is.

Liberty's Edge

So far. I'm enjoying the season ...

Was it? I thought he looked kinda familiar.

Spoiler:
I wonder if he'll be on anymore now that the old Buy More staff is back.

Linda Hamilton, Robert Englund... This weeks episode is so full of awesome. As opposed to Awesome, which is normal.

Dang, General Beckman was surprisingly hot in 1989.

Early shout-out before the credits in tonight's Chuck!

Morgan: The last time you were in charge, you did lead our party of D&D adventurers to their fiery death.

Chuck: Hey, if Tom had cast that spell of confusion like I said, we would have been fine!

Chuck was reading A Game of Thrones in the beginning of this week's episode, which later featured a life-and-death game of Uno.

(I seem to be the only one on these boards that watches Chuck, but I keep posting as an evangelist: It's a great show!)

I watch it too but missed the previous 2 episodes, so I'm a little behind.

Catch up! Last week was a repeat (from a previous season, oddly) so you might not be as far behind as you think.

I know it was a repeat from season 3. I mean I missed 2 actual episodes but caught it tonight. I missed Chuck vs. the A-Team and Chuck vs. the Muurder I believe.

Well, Chuck vs. the A-Team is available online until next week and the Muurder until early May, so you've got some time before having to resign yourself to waiting for the DVDs. Story-arc-wise, A-Team and Muurder wrapped up the Casey's-mission-on-the-side storyline, and Muurder introduced the (presumed) Big Bad. (It also featured the shout-out to Chuck & Morgan's past(?) D&D group.)

Some thread necro here to shout out to this show (which is available on netflix). I'd heard good things about it but didn't take a look until a month ago. In that time I've blown through two seasons, with each better than the last. The season finale of the second season was particularly amazing, especially the Mr. Robot-o scene.

If you haven't given it a shot, take a look. Good clean fun, lots of eye candy, and interesting character arcs.

I love the first three seasons. To me though, I felt that the third season finale just wrapped up too many plot threads, and it felt like a lot of season 4 and 5 was retreading past plot arcs

Liberty's Edge

Love that show!

I'll disagree on the later seasons - the entire series run was great!
