I've been madly grabbing stuff from the sale. I wanted to add a copy of the Red Dwarf RPG ($5) and have it ship with my subscription, but it bumps the next subscription up by a package and hence increases the price by $13.18!
Is there any way to order it and get it slotted into a later delivery where it won't increase the number of packages and hence cost more?

Unfortunately, no. The system will automatically dump anything you put into your sidecart into the first available subscription shipment. Going beyond this and making it hold products beyond this point introduces far too much complexity into an already-complex system.
Unfortunately, you'll have to choose whether to pay to ship it separately, or pay the additional shipping with your subscription shipment.
