I agree that this PBP rocks, and we have DM DK to thank for that more than the players! All the frustrating little spoilers to help people out, the role-playing on his part and the willingness to let us finish the role-play arguments we're having(though I can see anger and grudges being made as we stop arguing before the matter is resolved only slightly less fun)!

I can't see the new map.. in fact, I can't find it on the site. Is it just me? Does it take awhile for the map to load?
Just checked the map. Works fine for me. And yes it takes some time for the map to work. There is a delay I've noticed between the time the file name appears on the site and when the file is actually available for viewing. That is hopefully all it is for you Obi.
I will be mostly incommunicado (iPhone only) for the next 30ish hours (without kids ;) so I won't be posting much. Sorry for the inconvenience (I know some of you may not see it that way ;)
Might I suggest that we try and avoid the boars? Seems like a waste of resources considering we have bigger fish to fry.

As far as the PBP BTW guys, there will be times that I reward good role-playing by allowing you to do something outside of the normal rules at times. I won't use this against you though.
Bellis wanted to try and do something to bypass the combat. She was smart enough to take Calm Animals, not a very useful spell in most campaigns, but she took it anyways. The way the combat should have fallen, the boars would have charged in the same timing as you seeing them, so no prepared actions.
In my tabletop game, never would have been able to ready anything, but in this case I said lets see if it works. I hope you will all get your chance for good things to happen, just keep up the good role-playing and you will. I hope this helps to clear things up if any of you were confused.

Yes did seem pretty slow for the last few days. Hopefully it will pick back up. I know Durn is out for a lot of this week so it was expected from him, Lupus and Obi haven't posted very much all along, I am little disappointed in their participation, I was hoping for a little more from them. I believe Obi is in a couple of other PBP's so he may be pretty busy already and his character still isn't posted on the shared Google site???
Anyways if some people aren't really into it please let me know, we can find other people who want to post regularly to take your spot. It won't hurt my feelings.Taking Durn's turn to move the plot forward.
I know in Lupus' case, it is more about timing than anything. Whenever he is available to post, not much is happening. When he heads off to work, things go crazy. He gets time to catch up on all the postings (at work) but then doesn't have the time to post himself. He has expressed his frustration regarding this to me.
He didn't post yesterday because he had already posted his action and not much happened yesterday. He was following the action though. The weekends tend to be the slow time and that is when he obviously has the most opportunity to post.
I will be out of town this weekend and won't be able to post for instance. Maybe I'll get him to post for Eadric on the weekend and I'll post for him during the week (when needed). Ultimately, it is the role playing that he is missing out on... and that is a shame.

Just instruction for now. If I can't figure it out after that...
After you log in, click on "Player 7" in the side bar.
Once on Player 7's page, click on the "Edit Page" button in the tool bar (top right).
You can then edit the fields below. Changing Player 7 to read Obi and adding whatever text (and pictures!) you wish to the field below that.
Once you are in editing mode you have layout options in the toolbar at the top of the page. When you are finished, click the "Save" button (again top right) and voila!
Check out my page(s) for an example of what can be done. All 3 pages (Main, Backstory and Inventory) can be edited this way.

Might I suggest for you to actually post the picture so that one doesn't have to click the view button to see it. Just edit the page like you did but you can use the "Insert" pull down menu in the layout toolbar, and then "Image" to insert the image right into the field like a word document.

In my defense, the majority of those posts were short OOC posts filled with idle banter between DK and myself.
And if you average it out (total posts yesterday divided by 8), it only worked out to the equivalent of a little over 2 posts each. :P
I know the time zone differential is a challenge. That is why I asked about it earlier. We are still working out the kinks!

The main thing I was hoping for were players who could post a couple of times a day. So if you can't post 4-9 times per day that is okay :)
Let's keep going and see how it progresses. I am okay if this campaign moves along a little slow.
The next week or so will be quite intensive for me, as I have a big test in a week. Hopefully after that's done I'll be able to post a bit more.

Ah... Eadric. You always take maximum damage, and always get minimal healing. I hate when my spells get pretty much wasted like that.

What's with my dice rolling? I threatened a crit, then rerolled an attack / damage, and a I got the same rolls both time, for both dice.

I hate to be a party pooper, but in the interest of learning the Pathfinder rules...
The 0-Level Wizard spell Daze states that the target is one humanoid creature of 4 HD or less. As such, the boars would not be a legal target.
Please don't shoot the messenger! I empathize with you (see also change to Detect Evil :) I had this pointed out to me during my home game.
Add to that, that your dazing touch doesn't affect creatures with more HD than you have levels and... that sucks.
