Ok I know that an Eidolon is sent back to its home plane when it's reduced to a number of negative hit points equal to or greater than its Constitution score. So what happens when...

The Eidolon is turned to stone by a gaze attack or spell?

The Eidolon has its Strength drained too zero by a Shadow?

The Eidolon is slain by a Wight?

The Eidolon is slain by a disintegrate spell?

Thanks in advance

I'm nearly certain that there is no official rule on petrification or Strength drain. I've wondered about those as well. Of course, if the Eidolon dies, there is only one rule. It comes back the next day with half hitpoints. I don't believe it matters how the Eidolon dies. Also, I don't think outsiders can be turned into undead, so it's not really be a concern if it's slain by a Shadow or Vampire, etc. I may be wrong, though.

I SUSPECT that the official rule in the upcoming APG will be if the Eidolon is taken out of play by anything, be it death, petrification, etc. The rule will simply be that the Eidolon can return the next day with half hitpoints.
