He's posted on Facebook since then, he seems to indicate that he's pretty busy, so maybe he just hasn't had time to kick it here lately.

Yeah, I was a little concerned. It's completely understandable, given his loss. I messaged Ed today, since I haven't heard back from Rone in a while.

Yes he has very long hair, at least in his pic's on FB. I told him we were missing him and good luck with everything from all of us. He says he will be back as soon as he can but is just too busy right now.
