Hexes and Terrain

I've noticed that the travelling and exploration times are not marked for Deserts and Tundras (though that is still a desert)...
what would it be?
For right now, I'm doing the same as Plains.

Are there deserts in Episode 2?

I did not notice any on the map?

There are no deserts or tundras in the adventure so we didn't bother listing their vaules... but you can determine them easily enough by looking in the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook.

It could be important if you run a home-made campaign based on hex exploration (hexploration).

As James says it's not hard to reproduce the time estimates for other terrain types using the Core book's exploration rules. All the terrain is trackless at the start.

For example Sandy Desert is x1/2 so overland through a 12 mile Hex is 8 hours (3 miles per hour, 1.5 mph for half move). Swamp and mountain are also 1/2 move so use their column for full exploration. That all assumes a party that moves 30 ft a round.

Thanks, this does answer my question as in my homemade campaign, thew kingdoms stretch through all the terrain types.

I'm seriously considering "Hexizing" all my future campaigns and keeping these rules handy, on the off-chance someone says, "hey, let's set up shop in that abandoned ruin we just cleared out and build a city in between monster slayings!"

I live eternally in hope. :D
