Do you want to run a Kingmaker pbp? Dread looking through all those concepts you are going to get? Wish you could get a group with characters that you know are going to work together have a shared background? Look no further we are the group you are looking for.
we have Kalsgrim Lodovka (paladin or Sorcerer) who is a younger scion of House Lodovka that has been sent forth with his retainers the Nowicki brothers a ranger, and cavalier (order of the lion) with a charter from the Swordlords.Kalsgrim's friend (Dalthom's Eldrich Knight)has joined the party. Janku (cleric of Gorum),Servayan (bard or Summoner) and Corso (Rouge) are brothers who are connected to the Surtova family Janku and Servayan do not yet know that Corso is their half brother(future Plot Development). They met up with the party preparing to head to the Stolen Lands when they overheard them discussing the preparations, and asked to join the endeavor as their own prospects in their family were none to grand. A chance to help found a fledgling kingdom appealed to them as well.
So if you would like to run Kingmaker for us we would love to play.
Ox flexes his muscles, showing off for the Gm. Just posting to Show off the Cavalier, Rallen "Ox" Nowicki I used a 25 point buy for him but it can be adjusted to fit the way however you( our Gm) want to run the game.
I've either got a Summoner (in profile) for a GM willing to allow APG classes, or a Bard (next post).
Servayn's Eidolon is called 'Ember,' and resembles a wyrmling red dragon, more or less, and as it grows, will become more and more red draconic in appearance and abilities. He has been raised to believe that he has some ties to the vanished House Rorgavia, which had some sort of unknown ties with red dragons, which cemented it's dominion over the land of Brevoy, before that house (and it's dragon allies) vanished mysteriously.
Whether or not he *does* have any connection to this vanished house, or is but a dupe of a third party, even he does not know.
And a Bard (if the GM doesn't want to deal with the APG Summoner quite yet), spent his childhood as a bastard son, helping a legitimate half-brother to find his way through the shark-infested waters of his inheritance, only to find himself alone and surrounded by annoyed half-siblings when his half-brother fell off of a horse during a boar-hunt and died.
So now he's left the manor life behind, seeking out a new 'heir apparent' to guide to power, so that he can have a throne to stand behind....
I have yet to do any crunch waiting on GM for that, but can easily be taken care of. Garrick is Ox's older brother, and one of the huntsmen of the Lodovka family. He is happy to be heading into the wilds of the Stolenlands, and looks forward to putting his woodscraft to work. He has always preferred the festivals of the common folk to the more formal festivities he has been to in the Lodovka halls. He thinks Kalsgrim will do a fine job, and has always enjoyed his company during hunts be it for game or poachers.
I could do it if you guys don't mind one or two GM posts a day. My work is crackin' down a bit on 3rd party sites so I've lost about 6 hours of posting time > . >
It sounds like you guys are pretty organized and ready to go, I've got the books for it and am getting ready to run Kingmaker starting next Wednesday for my real life group. I think it would be fun to see how the different groups handled the encounters. I would probably use a pdf picture extractor to pull out the maps, add in some player/monster tokens and an appropriate fog of war.

Any special house rules, or prohibited classes / races etc. we should know about. Also how do you want us to generate stats, and /or starting funds. Also I always forget to ask, but how are HP done on level up. Looking forward to starting this one.

I wouldn't really want to run a PBP with more then that. Even a table game would be a tad crowded with 6.
I'd just go with Core rules, races, and classes. I'm familiar with the APG ones as well so no issue there. I followed the Beta for them pretty close. A 25 point build would be fine. 20 point always feels anemic to me. Average class funds, Summoner would be same as Sorcerer. Cavalier same as Fighter. Hit points would be Average rounded up + Con just for simplicity.

Seems you overlooked Dalthoms sorcerer/fighter headed for Eldrich Knight. I hope you don't mind 7. It seems like if there is a campaign that is able to handle a large group it's Kingmaker. I hope this isn't a deal breaker for you I know we all are excited to play, but would hate to do so if it meant leaving one of our own behind.

I am taking craft bows is it possible that I have made my bow this will determine how nice a bow i can have as it is cheaper to make one then buy one. my craft skill will be +6 a +2 composite long bow would cost 300gp to buy, but to craft only 100gp.
Ah, didn't see the Eldritch Knight there. My main concern is keeping up the pace. Scaling up encounters for a larger party isn't an issue but I wouldn't want everything to be slowed to a crawl. If one out of seven people forgets to post each day then a single round of combat could take two days. One of the biggest things that kills a PBP is it goes too slow and people lose interest or nothing happens.

Like I'm doing for the LHC game I'd want you guys to be comfortable with me taking control of your characters briefly to ad lib mundane actions for the purpose moving scenes forward. With 7 people it would help to be able to auto-pilot someone who hasn't posted when the other 6 are ready to go.
Combat would be similar to my other game. I would post a setup, roll initiative for everyone, then you guys post your actions and I follow up with a post showing everything that happens in initiative order calling for the next round. This makes for easy to read rounds and helps everyone keep track of what's going on.

It looks like it would take you about 5 weeks of work to make a bow like that. I don't see anything about needing to dedicate 8 hours of waking time towards crafting mundane items so it's something that could feasibly be done while traveling even. Given that your character is 24 and has some training in this I think that would be alright.
Some would argue that the starting wealth represents the equipment and items you've gained over your life, but a slippery work around is to use your starting gold to buy the raw materials and then craft it during the game. That's just silly though so I don't see an issue with making it beforehand.
Cool I appreciate that, and if you would like to see how we have been doing things you can look at Dorgar's Falcon Hollows game. It is my first attempt running a pbp, but I would say we are a pretty dedicated group. The only one not playing is Scranford. He was looking for a kingmaker game that several of us applied to, and we invited him to join us in this working up a group concept. I have no problem with an action being posted for me if the group is waiting. I don't think any of the rest will either.

Sounds great to me, I am really excited about this. I think I have the majority of characted done, I suppose I should put up mount info for Ox. and do some back ground and personaity and Gear. I think I have all my crunch done. Let me know if anything looks out of place on my char.
Just need like BAB, weapons, saves, AC, gear, things like that. Any backstory for Ox and Garick?

That's ok. It doesn't need to be a Kvothe length novel or anything. It's really more for your guys benefit of a foundation for roleplaying and future NPC interaction.
That's great that you are willing to DM this campaign and sorry that I didn't post a character under the recruitment. However, if Scipion prefers only 6, then I am fine bowing out. However, as Dorgar can back, being the GM of our other campaign, I am no slacker when it comes to posting. I'll go ahead and get my character finished and sent to you and you can decide if you want him to join or not.
Sure go ahead. It would be fun to see someone play an Eldritch knight anyways. This is probably a good group for the in-combat-fighter/out-combat-wizard setup as there is little in the way of versatile arcane utility so far.
