Although it is an excellent illo, I think it needs to be redrawn. The kobolds have too many fingers. The Bestiary shows them with three fingers and a thumb. Plus they appear to be loosing. Not very realistic.
The kobolds obviously stole that mysterious "fourth" finger from previous gnomes they slaughtered. And they're hardly losing the fight... they're laughing! The one being "burnt" is just ticklish!
Although... it IS the cover to the gnome book, so maybe its just fey propaganda?

So the real question is: "When does Kobolds of Golarion come out?
Or are you concerned that accurate information on Kobolds might be taken as too much "Mary Sue"-ism by the uninformed?

A race as important as Kobolds needs a much more thorough treatment then what has already been done.
They've received as much attention as goblins, they just didn't undergo a ground-up re-imagining. I don't think we'll see player-oriented companions for either race at least until there are thorough rules for playing monstrous characters.

I dunno... I think a "Goblins of Golarion" or "Kobolds of Golarion" would be pretty awesome.
They certainly don't need any special rules for playing monstrous characters, since both races are hardly overpowered compared to a human.

I would love to see a Goblins of Golarion book. My group recently played through Burnt Offerings and the high light of the game was the frenetic way in which the goblins were played by our DM. I kept imagining Gremlins in combat gear. The art of Andrew Hou throughout, maybe some Wayne England as well. I love his dwarves, it was a shame he wasn't used for the dwarf book.
This item would be insta-purchased by several players in my group no doubt about it.

That would be awesome. Sometime in 2012, maybe? ;)
I've been playing a kobold in Galnorag's Second Darkness campaign for over a year now and he's a lot of fun! We tweaked the race just a bit to make him a little less pathetic, but not much. Honestly, he'd be just as playable without the adjustment. Started off as a Beta Playtest for the Bard, and he's kinda grown on me -made it to Bard 8/Dragon Disciple (green) 3 so far.
