NPC generator

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

now this subject might also be in some other thread i just couldnt find, but im really interested in getting a good NPC pathfinder generator. The main problem here is that most of the generators i have already located, are for either 4e or 3.5e, wich makes it kinda hard but not impossible to apply it to pathfinder.

So do any of you know of a good pathfinder NPC generator? preferrably one with monsters and classes too.

Hero Lab should do it -

GRU

as far as i know hero lab dosnt generate the character for you, it just gives you an easyer way to make one. What i wanted was a generator that makes an ogre barbarian lvl 2 or something, and that dosnt require me to type or choose anything, unless i want to type something in, and then just build the character around those parameters for me.

Something that resembles NPC designer for 3.5 edition.

Not yet, there is however the Pathfinder chronicles npc book that just came out, that can helpful along similar lines. Its basically a book full of different npcs. Not as convenient as an npc generator, but helpful for sure.

ok thx.

I know they have relesed the book, but since i love to throw in levels to boost different monster types, its not all that convinient. I dont like my PCs thinking they can take on everything they meet, so throwing in some class levels to spice up encounters works well. Also gives you the opportunity to still use orcs and goblins after lvl 2. Nothing like an old iconic fight

Try www.rpgattitude.com and download the NPCdesigner there. I believe there is a beta version of the pathfinder set already included and its free until the creator creates the next version.

The data is pretty easy to manipulate to make it what you want, I have created a few that are geared towards my own campaign.

I've just added a Pathfinder Generator to my site

Dingle's Games Pathfinder NPC Generator

I'm still in the process of updating the monster stats but you can certainly have a play with it.
All the feats and main classes are there.

Let me know if you find any problems and I'll get them fixed.

I too use Dingle Games. (Friendly Plug)

Please support this gentleman.
If you don't want to spend too much time making mook NPC's this is perfect for you.
Heck, I was using his 3.5 generators and then converting them to 3.75 to save time.
It isn't flawless atm, but with more DONATIONS, it can become so :) ;)

I'm also a user of Dingle Games. I'm overall satisfied with what he's been able to do with *just* the D20 SRD and it's quite enjoyable to use and saves a huge amount of time. I can't speak for the pathfinder NPC generator directly, but it will probably be quite amazing once it's up and running like the 3.5 generator!
