Nyria moved to the left of the door, peering into the darkness to see if she could see any movement within.

Have't we already all rolled Init? could have sworn I waited till everyone rolled before my last post.

Sneaking forward, Janos and Dakkon peer in through the door to see another, larger set of doors to the right. These double doors are likewise open wide enough for a person to get through, and each of you is able to follow the trail of blood through the entry chamber and out of sight into the grain-filled chamber beyond.

All that can be heard is the bustle of the city, which seems much more distant than it should, and your own breathing. Vapor from your breath hangs in the icy, silent air, before dissipating into the thick fog around you.

Janos moves forward further, passing through the threshold and into the oblong chamber. Following the red sprinkled trail to the second set of doors and peering through, you catch a glimpse of a dark and shrouded figure as it moves a third set of doors joining the next room to the one beyond.

Janos:

Although your glimpse was very brief, from under the heavy hanging hood you were able to see what could only have been a skeletal jaw and nose hole. The eyes were shrouded by the hood, but that this is a walking skeleton you have no doubt.

Sorry for lack of response, this pbp had gone for so long without an update I thought it had faded. I assume Dakkon doesn't see anything?

Not from his position. I intend to keep this going at whatever pace we can collectively manage. I sincerely apologize if I've let anybody down, my life in the last few weeks has just been unexpectedly busy for a bunch of random reasons.

Anyway, I'm just waiting on the players' actions for the next round. Janos has taken his second turn but everybody else is yet to do so.

[Wadi Ahk'kolon]

Wadi will move into the room. He started at the entrance, where the blood trail started, so he will move 3 squares north and 4 squares east, so he is next to the east wall in front of the door. Then he will cast Light on his crossbow.

Draw weapons while stealthily following Janos 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
