Adventurer's Armory

Pathfinder Society

Howdy Pathfinder Society community,

This isn't an announcement as much as it's a totally knee-jerk nerd response from me:

THIS BOOK IS FREAKIN' AWESOME!

I just finished reading it as part of my update to v2.2 of the Guide, and there's only 1 thing in the entire book I'm not allowing. New weapons, new armor, new alchemical items, new adventuring gear, new everything. I can very easily see this book become the player's second most important book behind the Core.

I'd encourage all Pathfinder Society members to give this one a shot. It's more than worth it!

So taking your advice I sprinted over to the Paizo store....not out until April! Evil Josh teasing us.

Really not teasing, just saying you guys will love this book. :-)

Tease.

Can't wait for it to come out in less than a month. Hopefully it will be a semi-replacement for the Arms and Armor book from 3.5. :)

I'm guessing we'll find out at release what that one item is?

Have to admit, it's the alchemical meta-magic that seems to be of interest to me.

No, you need to read between the lines. What Josh is saying is that the v2.2 update for PFS wont be out until after Adventurer's Armory (i.e. end of April). :-(

But, it is on my 'to buy' list :-)

I'm looking forward to it too. But yeah, definite tease. Only way to be more of a tease would be if you puckered up and made kissy noises :)

Now, if you could just spill one teeny weeny little preview, just one little thing that made you go "coool"... pretty please? We won't tell anyone else. Just a little peek...

I'm not saying that AT ALL.

In fact, I'm working on that update today and I hope to have it out next week.

Do we dare hope for Halfling War Slings and Skip Rocks?

I sure failed that Sense Motive check. I hope that it wont affect some of my future Diplomacy rolls. :-)

I also saw that it is a budget friendly book. I was thinking, after some of the hype I've seen, that it was going to be a $30+ book. It sounds like it's only going to be worth $30+ and only cost a fraction of that. Can't wait.

Josh, if you have it in hand, how long before it goes on sale? Or is your copy a proof copy, not a final print run?

Sovereign Court

I ache for this book...

Will any of the items in the book be in the "always available" category, or will everything need to be unlocked with prestige or certificates?

Why would we hope for recycled boring material from 3.5?

'Cause if it appears in this book, it'd be Society legal!
