Endocrinologist visit was OK, not great. Apparently I didn't get his scrip when I was discharged, which requires blood draws once a month for 3 months. I hate needles. BP was good. Doc explained that the hemorrhage causes ADH production issues with the pituatary gland, resulting in the sodium issues. And I have to see him again in 3 months, then 6, then 1 year before I'm done. And I have to stay on fluid restrictions for 3 months, but I can gauge them myself. *sigh* Guess it was too much to hope I'd be done with him today. Got the 1st blood draw done today but had to go across the parking lot, due to the snafu. Still, the whole trip took less time than I thought.
Neurologist in an hour.

Neurologist update -
Met with his asst - liked her a heckuva lot better. Off work another 2-4 weeks. Need a CT next week, still have no driving restriction, etc.
She was informative and helpful, and showed us the CT scans from the hospital. Told us I had a significant amount of blood, and that would mean the slower recovery. Apparently when the blood reabsorbs there are proteins left behind which take longer to fade but still cause irritation of the nerves and brain.
Outlook is good. Everything normal, given the circumstances. Just need more time.

Good to hear!

Are you kidding me? There's Load of S][!T, Reload of S][!T and S][IT Anger. Death Magnetic at least redeemed themselves a bit. :P
EDIT: But the new Megadeth Endgame....whoah, that kicks ten tons of ass.

I meant that they did not suck before oh say Load. Death magnetic is not bad but.... just does not quite do it for me.
Endgame huh?!?! must partake of this

I agree with you about DM. It's better than the last three, but of course it's hard to touch everything before Load.
And yeah, Endgame is good. They picked up Chris Broderick from Jag Panzer who is a guitar virtuoso and can smoke Dave easily. And Dave Ellefson (sic) is back behind his rightful place on the bass. Best Dave has sounded in awhile by being angry yet avoiding the drugs. The fact that they've been doing the entire Rust In Peace album on certain dates is good too. =D

I never knew my mom was a rocker. ;)
He was the lead in Poison, but he has done country recently.
Yep, same thing. My mom's comparing symptoms. At least she's saying stuff like, "You could tell him all about that...".
Neurologist tomorrow to see if I get cleared for work, but this past week has seen a setback with nastier headaches. Last week was better. I'm hoping for clearance for part-time, though I'm wondering if I'm pushing myself too much. Bleh.

Heh. That didn't help, but it was early in the week. Then the announcement that my company lost its largest account. Then the blasted weather shifted.
Yep, stress + stimulus + weather = BAD.

Thanks all.
I laugh at this Brett Michaels return to tour in a month stuff. Of course I don't know how significant his bleed or brain swelling was. Or his level of sensitivity to sound. I have a REAL BIG problem with sound.
He'll have to be jacked up on drugs to deal with performing, but that's common in the music business.
