The new oracle on the Master of the Fallen Fortress cover is looking pretty hot.. well except for the glowy scarey eyes thing. Now we gotta see the witch in her full glory!

Seoni might have some competition...

BTW.. where are the APG Iconic backgrounds? :)

Sell what exactly...

Thier bodies.

i think Merisiel can also compete.

I second the Merisiel vote!

I'll take the stabbity lady with attitude every time!

Not to mention that most buxom ladies can look hot in a few little wisps of cloth. Merisiel manages it in a full suit of studded leather!

Hmm...now I am starting to wonder about myself and my apparent BDSM tendencies. Uh oh...

No way! Your Oracle-girl can levitate all she wants. No one bounces like Seoni.

Why is it there are no hot, dwarf chicks in Pathfinder?

I sense conspiracy

I sense common sense...

Merisiel doesn't need to compete, because as far as I'm concerned she already won the competition.

As for the "Meet the New Iconics" blog posts... we want to probably use them to start building up anticipation for the book's release. Doing those now would be seriously jumping the gun. Expect them some time in the summer, I guess.

Ok.. then when are you going to revisit the original four like you said you would? :)

I'd like to report a theft...

Liberty's Edge

I find Seoni a bit bland.

Amiri was always the hottest, IMHO.

Honestly, all of the female iconics in the core rulebook are attractive, though different in different aspects. Seoni and Meresiel are the most immediately attractive, but I rather like Kyra, Amiri, and Seelah quite a bit.

You said "all" the women...

(shrug)

Probably sometime before the six new iconics get their stories.

And I suspect only Valeros, Seoni, and Merisiel will get new writeups. Kyra's is already pretty good, but maybe it could stand a rewriting...

I think this new Oracle iconic is in Seoni's league...but I don't think she edges out the original sexy sorceress.

Why? One reason: That ridiculous-looking headdress she's wearing. Seriously, seeing that thing makes me think that she's trying to do a lame Dark Helmet imitation.

I'd forgotten Lini, whoops!

I still want to hear the story about Merisiel, Kyra, and Valeros in the bath house from the picture in LOF "the Jackal's Price"... there's gotta be something fun there.

Silver Crusade

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Yeah, I knew the Oracle was gonna come out nice. In fact, she's Divine!

Don't think we'll ever get that story. :)

Dark Archive

Bustiest =/= Hottest...but in this case, yes it's true.

Given that it's Paizo Publishing they'd be selling copy naturally.

Spoiler:
I was doing a play-on-words of the old adage "Sex sells." In this case, characters with uber-high Charisma being equated with sexy.

Got to say the witch does it for me more than the oracle does.

Liberty's Edge

Even without seeing it colored I'd say the witch is way more attractive than the oracle. I dig her look. I also rather like Lini even if she IS a gnome and favor Merisiel over Seoni.

My god.

That hat.

Pitching the "Babes of Golarion" calendar idea again! ;D

Spoiler:
... actually this has more to do with commending the high degree of effort that Paizo puts into the quality artwork that is part of its products.

Silver Crusade

I have to speak in the oracle's hat's defense. That is one damn fine hat. That's some genuine pulp fantasy headgear right there.

Also, have to admit I favor the new oracle over Seoni as well.

But Amiri is still tops.

Harsk second.

Okay, now we need the Bikini contest to settle this once a for all.

I've seen the Witch coloured... :D

She looks pretty sweet, although I'd have to see a coloured version of WAR's Oracle to see which one is better..

Dark Archive

couldn't we have both a calendar and a bikini contest? (tasteful, and erm... pg13 and all that) you know, maybe for the summer or something?

Creating a "Babes of Golarion" swimsuit calendar would be awesome, and would sell! (That would be easy to predict! :D)

But it would also be a massive undertaking and time commitment of Paizo's stable of artists.

So, would it sell enough to be worth it? (That is not so easy to predict. :()

Spoiler:
Note that one should not restrict this to the iconics, but major NPCs would be appropriate as well - Shelyn, Calistria, Sabina Merrin [sp?], Laori, Ameiko Kaijitsu, etc.

for a non-iconic i vote for lavender lil

Seconded! And thanks for demonstrating the point!

Silver Crusade

I was always partial to Trinia myself. Still, as far as Iconics are concerned I still think Kyra is rather beautiful. I tend to have a different taste from most of the guys I know to be fair. The oracle is not quite my type. I think the glowy eyes are a bit too much and cleavage does not equal armor. Practical armor is by far the better look in my eyes.

Dark Archive

maybe paizo could even do an epilogue for these characters in the calendar, a what happend to them after the ap quote or what have you

Kyra is lovely. Those eyes and lips... plus you can't go wrong with a girl who knows how to handle a scimitar. Well, you can, but it's not a good idea...

Sovereign Court

Enough about the temple dancer with the golden rowboat on her head. She and Seoni can discuss the wonders of double-stick tape back at camp.

Now, who's the hot slab of chivalry rocking the orange tabard below her? What's his name?

...

I have to hand it to Paizo. Half your female iconics are dark skinned, which is a rarity in the 'hot ladies of fantasy' genre.

I believe that is the Cavalier...name yet to be known.

Shadow Lodge

My rankings:

Amiri > Lini > Seoni > Witch > Oracle > Merisiel > Kyra > Seelah

Witch and Oracle reserve the right to move up or down as we actually see more of them.

i think gimli said it best lol.

"Gimli stated that only approximately one-third of their population consisted of women. Because they seldom travel outside of the Dwarves' mountain-halls and when they do they dress as men, with similar voice and appearance as male dwarves, even when they are rarely seen they are usually mistaken for a male."

Dark Archive

In my opinion if Paizo ever did a "Girls of" or bikini calendar they need to get the artist that did all the artwork for the Wench cardgame to do the art. Or some other artist who tends to do pinup art in order to do the project justice. Alas we'll probably never see it. We can dream though.

Also I'll cast my vote for the witch.

Need a better picture of the Oracle, don't find her attractive at all in the pose with the angry face...

Besides, what's with the hat?

Personally I find Iomedae one of the best looking ladies of Pathfinder.

It's frustrating that even in this decade you have to count yourself lucky when fictional universe builders remember multiple skintones exist. Golarion has made me very happy for the most part with its ethnicities.

Also, all this hate for awesome headgear is making me sad.
