Issue 26 Binder problems?

Council of Thieves

We went through the entire play last night and had an amazing session. One of the PC's playing Drovalid was not able to cut the Rot grub out before it took his life. A series of bad rolls will do that every time. Enough on that though and no problems with the AP as the story is awesome. However, I have had no problems with the binding on any issue to this point until working with this issue. Granted, I have been back and forth between the pages a lot, but yesterday, I could see the pages start to slowly pull away from the binding at the top and by the end of the session, the first 24 pages were all out and falling on the floor. I understand that this may be my fault but I have had good luck with every issue up to this point. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I have had a similar problem with two issues. The first was with Gods and Magic that had about 15 pages come loose from the binding. Then in the middle of running The Armageddon Echos another 10-15 pages came loose from the binding. I will have to compliment Cosmo and the rest of the Customer Service team as they sent me new copies at no cost to me. That is what great Customer Service is all about.

Just my 2 cp.

My #26 is also coming apart and I've seen the same thing happen to a friend's issue as well. Don't know if its that particular issue or what, but I'm just trying to use recopied stat blocks so I don't have it to open it or flip through it that much. Sucks, cause I really like the module.

Were you aware that demonslye had gone through and updated the stat blocks on most of the NPC's of Second Darkness? Run a search for his name and see if you can find the upgrades.

Never mind, wrong AP. Sorry.

Oh my... I thought I was the only one that experienced this awful binding.

I'm sorry, I normally don't rant a lot, but the bindings of ALL of the AP booklets from Council of Thieves are a %$)("/(& problem. I pay good money for my books and like to be able to use them during play AND for some years after that without getting a sheet-of-paper collection after turning the pages just once.

I had to tape ALL my pages of ALL my booklets and grew more and more annoyed about this issue. *grumble*

Me too! It sucks b/c I like to keep my D&D stuff in good condition.

Sovereign Court

I just saw this thread but I want to add that I also have the same problem with my PF26 module: the first half of the pages are threatening to detach from the "spine" of the module. So far, it's the only module I've had this problem with.

Shadow Lodge

Likewise, my copy of #26 is in pieces. Especially the first half.

Same here. The rest seem okay though.

Liberty's Edge

The page in front with the table of contents fell out from my copy of # 26.

my APs #26, #27, and #28 fell almost completely apart.

They're now of of hospital - ducktaped all over.

AP #29 feels "ill" by now...
