Thanks a million Glass. We are currently about halfway through the Three Faces of Evil chapter. I have to say playing with the group I have is great as they are long time players and constantly do things you would never expect and that leads to a lot of improvising on my end. Hence, why I wanted to make this a bigger part of the campaign and knowing this makes it easier with not a ton of work. I just have not read that far ahead yet but thanks again.
Ok , so I have an older group of long time players who are inquisitive and great players. We are just finishing up The Whispering Cairn and I tend to add a lot of items to the campaign as we move along seeing what they are in to and what isn’t working. I gotta say finding the piece to the rid of seven parts has lit a fire under them and also opens a means to possibly bring all that lore etc I. To this campaign as well. Do here is the idea and looking to see if anyone has tried anything similar to see what worked and what did not. This is high level as nothing fleshed out yet. Ok I am thinking of tying in the rod of law to be used as a means to defeat Kyuss in the end. They have already secured one piece in the Whispering Cairn. So now to spread the rest of the pieces at focal points within the campaign arc. If I need to add a side quest here or there do it. In turn, I also plan to change the story arc slightly. With this, bringing in the Age of Worms and raising Kyuss to god status is being driven by the Queen of Chaos who is trying desperately to bring Miska out of pandemonium to finish what she started. She has figured out that the key to Miska’s return is Kyuss as he is the one who holds the key to her release. Stop the Age of Worms, stop the return of Miska and defeating Kyuss will require the rod of law to defeat him. Hence a race to those parts in the campaign by both sides. This is the basic idea. If anyone has done anything similar, let me know. This lore created in WC is just having my players intrigued and I think a good enhancement ti the campaign. I know this is an old campaign so doubtful I will see much but who knows. Thanks.
I have been running the CoT AP and my issue 26 fell apart at the binder while playing. You guys were great and shipped a new one no problem. I am now in to running Issue 27, and at the end of the first part, pages started to come out of that issue as well and no I don't expect you to do the same here. My question is, is there an overall problem with the binding of the issues? I have subscribed since around issue 15 or so and it is just these 2 that are giving me issues thus far. Is it perhaps because this is the first AP I have actually run and use these issues more often? I know there isn't an actual answer here but want to advise that something is wrong and that the printing company should be made aware to try to do a better binding if at all possible. Gotta say, love the AP's and getting them to read. Great job and just wanted to pass this along. Thanks
I was just looking at my upcoming orders and need to update my billing for my Pathfinder subscription going forward. The old card on file was canceled out due to me losing it the other day. My order placed for my Issue 31 with then new card credit I want to use going forward. Please let me know if the account is now good and if there is anything else I need to do with billing to not interrupt my subscription. Thanks.
In the middle of running issue 26 and the binding started to fall apart on me Saturday. By the end of the session, the first 24 pages were now falling out. I am a subscriber to the AP's and haven't had any other problems to this point but is this a common complaint and what can I do to get a new copy of that issue? Any discount possible? Thanks
Well I can say that CoT's is awesome from what we have played so far. I am running it and we just went through the play on Saturday and it was a ton of fun. I am painting a somewhat darker picture of Westcrown then what most may and doing lots of on the fly adjustments etc. Implemented several side quests already that have been as much fun as the AP itself. That's the beauty of an AP. It's a guideline and an overall arch to follow that is easily adaptable to whatever your players throw at you. As I know, my players are amazing and they constantly pull stuff out that I never would have expected. To bad one of them died in the play and others were close. CoT would be my choice by far if you like a city where the LE devils rule.
We went through the entire play last night and had an amazing session. One of the PC's playing Drovalid was not able to cut the Rot grub out before it took his life. A series of bad rolls will do that every time. Enough on that though and no problems with the AP as the story is awesome. However, I have had no problems with the binding on any issue to this point until working with this issue. Granted, I have been back and forth between the pages a lot, but yesterday, I could see the pages start to slowly pull away from the binding at the top and by the end of the session, the first 24 pages were all out and falling on the floor. I understand that this may be my fault but I have had good luck with every issue up to this point. Has anyone else had this problem?
Cos,
Hi. The order for the Bestiary shipped on October 15th from what I see and I have yet to receive the book in the mail. Is there any way to check the status on this as I have had absolutely no problems with my PF subscription before? I was looking over some of the other posts and others appear to be in the same position but how long should we give it? Thanks and I look forward to you response. |
