Hey all!
Just wanted to share how successful Pathfinder was recently at Gamicon in Iowa City, IA. We planned for one low-level table and one high-table at each of the 5 slots over the course of the weekend, with 2-3 extra judges at each slot. Boy were we surprised!
We ended up having 4-5 tables each slot of 5-8 players/table. The best part: our weekly regulars took up the one high-level table and only a few spots in the low-level tables. The rest of the tables were brand-new players. At least 15 new players to Pathfinder in just one small convention!
Any other convention organizers having similar successes with Pathfinder?

That's great to hear!
I helped judge at TotalCon this past weekend and we had a fun time running PFS tables. I'm not sure of the total count of tables (we planned on 2 or 3 tables per slot), but I'm thinking it might have been around 20.
I ran 5 and most if not all of them were 6 players each. I met at least 15 new gamers at my tables. The best part for me was getting more experience judging and learning about coordinating at a convention. Most likely my group of friends will continue doing this at a few local conventions going forward.

Wanted to thank the individuals who GM'd Pathfinder this weekend at Gamicon, our group had a wonderful time dying this year but have found the individuals running Gamicon always helpful and a joy to game with. We are looking forward to playing, or even maybe volunteering to GM at future Gamicon events.
This was my 5th Gamicon and unfortunately I was unable to go last year but am very glad I could make it again this year. I enjoyed each and every table/group I was lucky enough to be a part of and hope in the future to run across them again. Many friendship were made and a good time was had so THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Gamicon a success this year and a Special thank you to Todd Morgan and his fellow GM's for making this so much fun for me and my fellow gamers.
