Yeah, that's where I watched it, some time back. I recommend the short story, by this soon-to-be Planet Stories author.

And if you folks aren't going to take care of your minis, why, you should just have to hand them over.
The scariest time is when you finally blow off the dust so we can see what we're fighting.

Enjoy your snooping.
This thread is therapeutic. We should be charging by the hour it's so damn therapeutic. ;)
Sorry your having a piss poor time, but at least it's better than..... well.... I'm sure it's better than something. :P

You're right...but I'm not allowed to type what it's actually better than. Instead, I'll follow that therapeutic comment for a moment.
Frankly, I've realized that many of my problems with my work life come from the fact that I'm "too nice." I've spent the past several years taking on the burdens of other peoples' failings.
As a leader, I've spent too much time beating myself up when my subordinates don't perform as they should. When my personnel have made mistakes, I've tended to assume all the responsibility and repeatedly re-examine all the things I should have done to prevent said failures. I had never really paid attention to how much stress I created and put on myself.
It would be one thing if that "niceness" came from some noble, enlightened paternalism. Unfortunately, I think I simply found it easier to suffer than to hold others accountable. The end result, however, is that my own confidence suffered. Now, my superiors are starting to question my abilities.
This morning, I resolved to put an end to that crud. I'm tired of taking the figurative "shots to the 'nads" for other peoples' inability or unwillingness to do their jobs. I mean, I'll still take the shots, 'cause that's how the military works. The difference is, from now on, others will feel that pain, too. Sometimes, leaders need to let the $&*^ roll down hill.
Anyway...just needed to get that out.

Consider this your bombing range Cmdr. and feel free to unleash yourself when the need arises.

Quote of the Evening(thus far):
Wife: I hate it when you leave the brita water thing in the sink!
Husband: I'm sorry sweetie!
Wife: WHY do you do that? Now we can't serve that water, it has some of the pasta water in it!
Husband: Oh, it's no big deal, it'll be okay. It's been filtered!
Wife: Angry glare
Husband: What? It's not like you poured orphan's blood into there or anything!
Wife: I think I'd rather serve orphan's blood to our guests than filtered pasta water!
Husband: looking shocked You'd rather serve ORPHAN'S BLOOD?!?!?
Wife: It's the orphan-iest!

Would she filter the orphan's blood and serve it on ice or serve it warm in a sifter?

I battled hard but it finally won out. Missed most of the excitement this weekend. Fortunately, it decided to leave me alone today.

BTW, I recently discovered that sinus infections can be the cause of migraine-like headaches.
Really? I didn't know that.
I have had migraines for most of life, but nothing quite like this weekend's nightmare. I wish it had been infection. Then it would have a direct cause/effect relationship that I could understand. When a migraine comes out of nowhere it is frustrating as there is nothing I could have done to prevent it and the only way to stop it is load up on pain relievers. That is, if I am lucky. Though, surprisingly, Excedrin Extra Strength is a miracle drug in that regard.

I found Imitrex extremely effective when I could afford it. At $75 per pill, it's pricey, but what is a day or two of your life worth, anyway?

Oh...well then I wasn't here at that point. I did go looking for it and I was wondering why I couldn't find that post.

GAAAAAHHHH Thats it thats the last time. Just had the jehovah's witnesses at my door again thats twice in a week, and the mormons were at the door 3 times last month. Time to make some religiously offensive pamphlets, arrange for me and my friends to form the atheist witnesses, and start knocking on some church doors. Lets see how they like it. GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH
So there's, like, 50 people where you live and you're getting this much harassment from religious groups? :)

Thanks, Jester. Things are going okay. Really glad I went to PaizoCon this year, because the way things are at work, it's probably going to be the bright spot of 2010. Well, aside from my wife and kids, of course...that goes without saying. I'm just hating my job (a lot), right now.
It was great to meet you at PaizoCon. I hope the job situation improves.

Alas I don't believe we met at Paizocon unless I have a horrible memory. Or maybe we did.
