Oh yeah? Well OUR side is tastelessly decorated in erotic art, pictures of Solnes boobs, and sexual bondage equipment.

Our side will get more visitors.

Perhaps. Heck, even my wife is scared of my side. "Every thing you like looks like it belongs in a haunted house." This from the girl who picks things like that tasteless monstrosity, the W Hotel.
Personally, if my home doesn't look like a Victorian gentleman blew up inside it, something has gone terribly wrong.

Wait... blew up how?

In a metaphysical sense, of course. ;)

You know, most people aren't brave enough to include intestines in their design scheme. I applaud your originality.

Well, I figured the brain over the mantle looked so good I thought it made sense to try out the intestines. I am thinking about going for the heart and lungs next, perhaps tastefully adorned with some roses, teeth, and a bit of ribbon.

Not getting mine from paizo :PBut it does feel kinda shady, because my buddy wants me to come down to the store, early in the morning before it opens grab the orcus, put it into a non-descript box and go out the backdoor of the shop and take side streets home. Apparently there's a bit of a fiasco brewing here in town over the Orcus and he doesn't want them in the store lol.

Well I don't care much for Football either. That being said why do we call it Soccer. Other then it is in fact Soccer and not Futbal as they want to call it.

Today the sport is generally known simply as football in English-speaking countries in which it is the most popular football code. In countries where other codes are more popular, the sport is more commonly referred to as soccer. The national governing bodies of Canada and the United States officially use soccer in their names. In 2005, Australia's association football governing body changed its name from soccer to football to align with the general international usage of the term (although the national team is officially nicknamed the socceroos). In 2007, New Zealand followed suit citing "the international game is called football". FIFA, the sport's world governing body, defines the sport as association football in its statutes, but the term most commonly used by FIFA and the International Olympic Committee is football.

The Aussie's are traitors.

Doing rather well. I am moving a bit slow today as my body doesn't seem to agree with me right now. Comes with the territory I guess.

We are still in the process of the never-ending move. All we have left are some boxes, but it feels like our belongings are reproducing or something.

Nope, he's just had an upwards of 75 offers on the thing, and keeps telling everyone it's unavailable. But every day people show up looking for it, and pester him about it. He just doesn't anyone to know he had any at all. So I get it before release date. which is tuesday I believe.

Honestly I could really give two shits about organized sports as a whole. It just irritates me with the inferiority/arrogance mindset of some soccer 'fans' who bleat on with 'Everyone else in the world loves this sport? Why don't my barbaric countrymen join with the program?' when MLS has tried EVERYTHING to make it popular, with epic failure at every turn. Remember Pele in the Seventies? He played for MLS. Beckham? Same. You could hire every last soccer great, cobble a massive dream team together, call it Team USA Red White and Sumb&$&#in' Blue and it still would epic fail. We don't like the sport here. Sad but true.

I can't imagine not liking soccer. I don't think less of those who don't and I certainly never rub my interest in the game into the faces of others, so please don't label me a primadonna. :)

I played soccer in High School and have always had a healthy love for the game.

However, hockey is a sport that competes heavily with my love of soccer.

You're cool AB. FTR, I despise 'fans' who mock my dislike of other sports just as much. The whole soccer thing just has an undercurrent of 'Americans are stupid' that really gets to me. It's a freakin' game. Watch it, just don't expect me to. And don't expect me to call it anything else than soccer. That's what pisses me off.

This is true and there are many reasons for it. And those reasons make perfect sense. Sports like football, baseball, and basketball have deep roots in this country. I certainly don't think the entire nation must love soccer. I just enjoy watching it myself, but I rarely feel the need to bemoan its lack of popularity here.

Unfortunately, I don't really enjoy basketball. Football and baseball can be fun to watch, but they are not my first choice.

I don't really like professional sports teams but some of that has nothing to do with the actual sport. Outside of the MLS and NHL I don't tend to watch professional sports or find any overwhelming need to go to a game. Even in the case of soccer and hockey, I actually find college games more interesting than the professional games.

Part of that might have something to do with the lack of attention those guys get. They don't have to worry about the kind of standards expected by the college football/basketball players. This is especially true here.

Exactly. I have the same reaction to those that love another sport and feel the need to shove it down my throat. Being a Columbus native I always get an odd look when I say I don't watch much Ohio State football. It is expected of those who live here and that assumption always pisses me off.

Yeah I get the same thing with Celtics/Patriots/Red Sox here. Fandom runs deep in Boston. Wish that it didn't. And we certainly don't need to add another layer of obnoxious fans to the mix if the 'Revolution' (our local MLS team - whatta lameo name) ever became popular. Ugh.

Well, enough sports bashing. I'm outta here ..

I get the same response about U of M football. As far as I'm concerned it's just an inconvenience that means I have to alter my plans to avoid all the gorram traffic. I hate football. Too many pauses. My ADHD doesn't make it past the first time out. :)

But I do love hockey. There's always something going on, and well, there's something fun about a sport that involves people hitting each other with sticks. (and oh, yeah, there's a puck in there somewhere too) :)
