I'm staying with my girlfriend's dad tonight, until she shows up tomorrow. Insomnia and jet lag are no fun. Other than that, not much.
I hear you on the jet lag part. I should be getting to bed I have a class in the morning. Have fun storming the castle.

You too, man.

Morning ALL Fawtl'ers. "Good left out intentionally.

/Begin rant/
Finally, I have my life back. I absolutely HATE buying cars. I guess that's why I drive them into the ground. After our little Memorial Day mishap we had to buy another Pilot two weekends ago and then my truck (175k miles) finally reached the point where repair bills exceeded the value of the truck so I sold it and just bought another car last night. Buying two cars in two weeks is a curse I wouldn't place on anyone.

No matter what I do, it takes 6 hours to buy a freaking car and the end payment always ends up the same. TOO MUCH. We started at at 6:30 pm, and we didn't get home until 11:00 pm.
/End Rant/

At least the evening wasn't a total loss. We did squeeze in the first encounter in our new family Kingmaker game last night after we got home. Tonight the real kingmaker fun begins.

Also, need to finish my character for Orthos's pbp, update the adventure log for RotR, develop side adventure for one character for the RotR campaign...

...and miles to go before I sleep.

Good morning!

<Does a quick calculation of overall unread posts>

Yeah, I'll be gibbering in the corner for a while. See you this evening.

I know that feeling. It's my anniversaryn week (15th), had a regular game night on Monday, two doctors appointments this week, am running Kingmaker on Thursday, having dinner at inlaws on Friday, going out of town with wife for weekend, still haven't done character for Orthos' game, and worse- haven't been to a bookstore in two weeks! AHARRG!

FFTACTICS FOREVER!!!!!!!!! And dont' worry Puffin-man- I'll get you deprogrammed from your Facebook love and back on the page of paranoid hateratin' soon.

For everyone else- GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING FAWLTY TOWERS!!!

I'm all caps today because I updated the Fighters entry for Freehold! The Saga of Wune with my optional stuff. Please check it out and post thoughts. Even the merest "That's cool" or "You suck horribly and your fingers should be removed so you can't type ever again!!!" is enough to keep me going for months at a time. Thank god I removed my heart and had that critiqueometer installed. No fear of cholesterol clogged arteries here!!!

I'd write more, but there is a meeting starting soon and I have to take people bowling today so my time is at a premium.

*mumble* Morning *mumble*

Can't seem to catch up on sleep. Dang stomach was acting up again last night. I was up until after two. Finally passed out on the couch. Kids up at 7:30am. Pancakes made and now watching New Hope. Happy children. :)

*sigh* Apparently I spoke too soon. Riley is now the embodiment of little brother and is beating up his little sister. Time to play referee. See ya'll laters.

I think Woodraven had a stomach bug. My stomach has been acting up since Monday. Luckily, it hasn't been nearly as bad as what Woodraven had, or you apparently have. :)

So, almost everyone came down with the bug that may have originated with a house guest who did not finish her antibiotics... or even bring them with her. Sore throat, feel overheated and fatigued. Ugh.

I really shouldn't blame Woodraven. He was miserable for the first 2 days of PaizoCon.

God. Scabies. God. My body told me there was a problem when I actually had a dream about them literally eating me alive. It was very much like the Star Trek episode with Data fighting the brain parasites.

What scabies are. I actually had to make a low grade Will save just to access the page and see a picture of them. I'm not kidding when I say I have nightmares about them to this day. The only thing that was worse(aside from the fact that they were in an..ah..embarrasing area) was that my roommate/best man had them ALL OVER after her visit. He was on the maximum prescribed dosage of lindane by law, and he got quite loopy on it for a bit. I just needed two to three applications for my bum. He needed about 3 to 4 for his arm, back and I'm assuming rear and one or both of his legs.

Scabies. God. I will NEVER forgive that woman for exposing us to that. She was visiting us from her college in SC.

So um yeah good morning all. If I am incoherent, or more coherent then normal I must blame it on the Lortab. I am heavily medicated and shall be for the next day or so while the antibiotics attempt to help my mouth not act up. I have to go to a specialist to work on my tooth since it is curved at the root. Lucky me.

I'm not looking at any pics. Are scabies the same as bedbugs?

Mairkurion {tm} wrote:

Nope. Completely different animal. Scabies are more loyal than your best friend(read: burrow under the first layer of skin) and can only be removed from your bed by starving them(i.e. not using it for quite some time(week and a half). Bedbugs can be removed through a truly thorough cleaning of your bed(read: hire a professional) and only take a sip of blood from you.

Mairkurion {tm} wrote:

It's sarcoptic mange. Don't know why Freehold didn't say that in the first place! :P They look like typical mitey things.

The interesting thing is that a lot of scabies cases go untreated because they are known as different things in different areas. To me, they will always be scabies. Someone I love very much who lives in AR referred to them as something else, and yet another person referred to them as something I won't repeat here(read: [insert racial slur]-mites).

My dentists and oral surgeons refused me any painkillers stronger than anti-inflammatories. I guess misuse is quite the problem around here. S'okay, opiates make me sick anyway.
