Morning all.
@CJ: Tooth issues suck. I have had three wisdom teeth out, one at a time, so [Clinton]I feel your pain[/Clinton]
@AB: Gratz on the happy ending to the moving drama. It's always better to put moving in the rear window. I HATE it, especially since I collect books :/
@HD: Sorry to hear about the friend demotion. Keep plugging, it took me 35 years and a disaterous marraige to find the right woman for me.
@Woody, Moorluck, Solnes, & all other FAWTLy Paizocon goers: Welcome back and kudos on the representing! Hopefully I can get there next year.
Off to the races ...

My partner put up some more pictures. The three most recent are from Sunday when we got to explore a largely abandoned old department store/office building. Some of the pictures are too disgusting for him to want to post, but let me assure you, there was some foulness. The place was awesome (we were walked around by an off-duty security guard who is a friend of ours). There was a kitchen area where it was apparent that they just closed up for the day and never went back, with grease still on the floor and moldy pans. The packing area in the sub-basement had a rusty old conveyor belt that can't have been used for 30 years or more. We had to be careful, though, because as deserted as the place was, we knew we weren't alone; nobody has any idea how many squatters are living there at any given time, and we didn't feel like risking being assaulted by opening any closet doors or the like. (The squatters are the main reason the bathrooms and such are so foul - squatters and non-functional plumbing are a bad combination.) Hopefully we'll get more pictures edited and posted soon.

Goooooooooooood morning Fawlty Towers!!!!!!
Finally saw all of season 2 of True Blood. The nightmares I had last night were totally worth it!
Trying to move up the weekly game to Tuesdays tonight- Here's hoping this becomes a regular thing because I think it might work better with my schedule than Thursdays, that, while a beloved tradition, turned me into a zombie on the day that I started the second job.
In terms of Freehold stuff, methinks I am finally done with the optional stuff for the fightan man. I'll post a link later, and as usual I run on the opinions of others, so be sure to e-mail me/post your thoughts.

That's just in Rochester. You'd be amazed what one can find in one's own backyard.

Ah yes. My best man went to school there.
I really have nothing against most squatters/homeless/whathaveyou unless they are actively running a scam of some sort. Life on the street isn't as hard as many have been lead to believe, but it is a different lifestyle(if chosen for oneself, that is) that doesn't necessarily mean you've become a criminal or raving lunatic- at least until the hardcore survival instinct kicks in.

It's true. We had no concerns about being in any of the open areas, because most of the people hiding out there desperately do not want to be seen. They're not going to jump out and attack anybody. But if they feel like they've been discovered, or mistake us for the police or something, that survival instinct is exactly what we would be worried about.

Ah well, so did we. By the time she got up the nerve to ask Jason to sign her chest he was nowhere to be found, it would've been funny though. :/

No it didn't! I posted it to my FB page and it's been spreading. I'm getting tagged in shares that I can no-longer see / have access to!

If you post it you'll be popular! ;)
Or, as we Ents sometimes say, 'You'll be Poplar!'

At least you're gainfully employed and making money. That's something in this economy, believe me.

ahh RX's for Lortab and antibiotics. still have the tooth issue, but he says I may well be feeling better by the next day. I have a referral now to a root canal specialist. [sarcasm]yipee[/sarcasm]
I actually like root canals -- the result, not the process. They fix the pain and preserve the tooth. My advice is to pick an oral surgeon with small hands.

well the specialist only do root canals. and only have to use a specialist because the root is curved.
