The circumstances are NEVER right for what you are implying. :S

Yep; that was a good one; some of the middle ones got a bit dreary for me; all the girly stuff and the like moved pretty slow sometimes. Dont like how the series jumps stories every chapter; I went back and read it doing the stories by skipping chapters of intervening characters; so like read all the Rand chapters or sections; then went back and read chapters of other characters. I have read it many times as each time a book came out I started back with book one to have the story fresh in memory.

Book one of the Wheel of Time series. I'm rereading this, but the last time was more than a decade ago. It's very readable and better than I remembered.
I did the same, Valegrim, but finally got tired of (a) spanking,

Thanks, everyone for the kind words. I'm glad this is going to help some DM's and players. Even for a group that tends to execute the bandits on sight, getting a little perspective on your enemies can make for a richer combat experience(our cleric, for example, spent most of the fight at Thorn River Camp bantering with Kressle, which was a huge factor in sparing her life and keeping her prisoner).

Freehold DM wrote:
Have you written anything else Gardener? I really, really like your style.

Nothing makes a writer smile like asking about their other stuff. :) I have one other Kingmaker post(Kressle) that takes place after Kressle's capture and provides some insight into her past and thinking, along with a lot of non-RPG writing including a novel I wrote last year but haven't tried to publish yet(lots of conflicting advice from a lot of people and a big ole case of stage fright). If I write anything else for Kingmaker, I will definitely share it based on the response I've gotten so far.

Shameful/less plug

Noone ever asks about my stuff...

I'm all in favor of more naked Solnes, though I'm sure her husband casts the only vote that matters (and in a stunning turn of democracy, can overrule my vote at any time, even if he's in a different time zone).
Well I can look at Naked Solnes anytime I want, but pictures don't compare to the real thing... ;)
*weeps single, stoic tear*
The video comes close, but with no sound it's still not good enough! ;)
*stoic tear joined by smaller, more rambunctious tear*
I should just pay for the full version of the program so I can enjoy sound as well as video and not either/or.

Dear god...it's finally happened...

Your brain exploded?

Look what you did! I'm a panda now! A sad one! Eating bamboo! Bad flash! Bad flash!

roots through Flash's garbage at 3 in the morning
Look what you made me do!
