Your the boss replace her/.

I am a manager with no hiring or firing capabilities. My owner is still very involved with that. But I can make my recommendations, and I will.

Made good progress today converting our baby store to a more generic toy store. Lots of fun stuff coming in: hula hoops, stomp rockets, kites, bouncy balls, etc. Even the adults are playing with the stuff.

Of course, nobody bought anything.

What about adult specialty toys? Whips and chains and things sometimes profane?

We've thought about it, believe me. We do have stomp rockets and bouncy balls.

You remember I had to write that one girl up for doing a pay out to herself? Well it has gone beyond that crap. Now she is telling customers that she is the Asst Manager, she has said that I am making up stuff that Our Boss has said to scare them, and that I do it to have some form of control...and she is opening up products to test out, without permission...I have had it. Me and my other two employees are going to our boss tomorrow and having a little meeting. I will not have her acting superior to the others. She is a no body...just like everyone else who started out 2 months ago....DONE!

She didn't happen to be working the store the one night we went over, did she? Otherwise, I didn't get to see any product demonstration .... oh wait, never mind ... I was playing with the rabbit wasn't I? o.O

BTW, I need to tell you about the story about getting my bags searched through the TSA checkpoint when I get a chance. :p

The missus' mother made homemade oatmeal with cinnamon, brown sugar, and craisins this morning. Prediction says that it'll clear out of the tubes anything left in there from the picnic the day before.

I am now sitting back home, no need for me today, in my PF faction T-shirt, drinking Wild Cherry Pepsi..... and I have the house to myself!!! :D

I take it that you had a one-way flight and that probably had something to do with being searched?

Considering that you are typing on the computer it appears you have found something to do today. :)

But, I don't think you want to spend the whole day doing that. You could clean the house and kitchen to surprise Solnes when she gets home. :P

I did have a one-way flight, but there were other reasons as well. They do seem to be gung-ho on hair-care products. I had to 'lose' those. I did have a couple of items that did escape the waste bin. I believe what helped was that certain items were still in their seal-tamper-proof packaging and thus escaped their ire.

Thought I was gonna be pulling security in Atlantic Beach today so I dropped the kids off at the sitter. However when I got there I wasn't needed, the streets were empty of bikers, so I came home. I will now nap.... and probably eat.... and maybe nap again.

So many choices. :P

EDIT: You could always work on the PbP that needs to be launched. :p

Good day all. I managed to organize all my D&D stuff last night. I put my 4th ed stuff and my pathfinder stuff on the same shelf (that oughtta stir the pot :P) No seriously I checked out my collection and I have so many friggin minis, flip mats, and dungeon tiles it's ridiculous. But I'm actually planning on taking a picture of this ridiculous next week. You see I get my Orcus next week, one of only 2 of the things that are entering my province. And the store owner (a buddy of mine) has told me to come and get it before the store opens on the day it arrives and not the release date. Despite his best efforts there is going to be a huge lineup looking for the thing on the 15th. And frankly he wants me nowhere around on the 15th with that thing lol. So pics coming soon of my D&D room.

I do it during bike rallies. They know I'm friendly enough to get along with the bikers, but if any trouble comes up I can generally handle it. It's a nice under the table job. :)

And on that note, with a belly full of onion rings, I am taking a nap. :)

I guess my suggestion was how shocked would she be for you doing it without her asking...

But, I can see why Fallout 3 would have a certain appeal to it.

Sorry to hear about your work troubles, Solnes.

I'm back from my trip. I agree with Woodraven--driving takes it out of you.

My mom is back in the nursing home, and she will not be going back to the hospital if something happens again. Either she'll recover or she won't. The trip to the hospital is even worse for her, evidently.

I'll be watching MacGruber with my son in 2 minutes. Surprisingly, no one else is in the theater with us. :)

I don't think he is afraid of that happening. It is a subconscoius desire for such to happen that led him to arrange them in that fashion. :P

There are some differences between airports but they have significant restrictions on containers with liquids and gels. I think some places have a 3 oz restriction. What size were the items that were allowed to pass through?

Nah they're all fairly inanimate. But seriously I am running out of mini storage. I have a mobile storage drawers filled to the brim with them, an office box filled to the top, and they take a huge portion of my shelf and the entire top of the shelf and a bag full on top of the mobile drawers. I seriously have thousands of dollars worth of minis at this point and I'm running out of storage. But still I just don't stop I plan to buy a whole case of the new "Lords of Madness" set in august. I think I'm kind of addicted. Luckily my husband just finds it funny and tells me it's my money to spend, and all the bills are paid so have at it.

Silver Crusade

Hi all! Just dropping in to say hello.

The Exchange

Hello.

Drive by postin' before going over to mom's to do some stuff- the upstairs neighbor continues to do construction and has now water damaged my moms celing in her tiny second bathroom. This guy is basically just writing her a check at this point, and I told her to stay cool and just continue to sue him(he still owes her money for the first time he water damaged her celing in her main bathroom).

Played the Darklight Sisterhood game last night and it was GREAT. I had a great time, and the PCs were happy that they got to kill a considerable amount of their foes. That and they are in a city now(Mechitar), and get a chance to sell their swag and buy more stuff. That and they had a LOOOOONG conversation on breast size lineup in the party. God, I love this game!!!!

Dreamt I was in Myrtle Beach with all you fine folk last night.
