With the hit summoners took to their spells its not really feasible to a summoner thats caster focused/oriented. With the 2/3 BA bonus and Free use of Light armor, To get most of your class you most likely need to get engaged in combat. I would like to see few feats added so they could pick up some weapons instead of having to use the simple weapons of a spear or quarterstaff. I think giving the summoner a feat at lvl 2 and every eight lvls after, (so you only get 3 total and at 2,10,18) I think this would allow some elbow room on weapon usage. I wouldnt even mind if they limited what you could use them on. Other than that i think most of the changes really helped bring it in line.
I think they also need the cure spells added, like the bard.
